Skinny girl habits and tips for weight loss and maintenance ā” Pt. 2
Hate the feeling of fullness. Eat until you are satisfied, not until you are stuffed, not until you are sluggish, but until you are satisfied. Thatās it.
Be busy! Create and explore new and old hobbies!! Keep yourself occupied. For example, Iāve taken up drawing again. Take care of your passions. Try whatever is available to you. This helps you avoid eating out of boredom and only eat with a purpose and intent. You will get dopamine and satisfaction from other things, instead of food.
Become obsessed with green tea! I have some of my own and itās mixed with ginger. On my last habits and tips post I mentioned water, make green tea a close second!
Try pilates! I mentioned stretching and yoga previously, but pilates takes that and amps it up 10 levels! It incorporates stretching and toning of the muscles. Strengthening deeper muscles to really improve your posture and physique!
Love your protein! Even in a deficit protein is essential for weight loss and fat loss of all kinds. Protein is good for your diet! You burn more calories by processing protein while keeping you fuller longer and more satisfied.
Be obsessed with diet coke or coke zero. I also like sprite zero as itās a lighter drink and it wonāt stain my teeth. (Tip for those who like darker sodas and teas like me, opt for using a straw to avoid staining!)
When you eat healthy for a long enough period while cutting out processed sugars, your taste buds will completely change. Your cravings will also change. Fruit will be so much more sweeter (and healthier too) while candy and doughnuts and cake is too sweet to the point where itās not enjoyable anymore.
