A Detention Home is a secure holding facility for juveniles. Apparently this young guy is in a bit of trouble! Khaki jumpsuit, belly chain and a staff escort. None are signs of trust!
First day in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
Shaved bald, deloused, suited up and mugshot photo! Busy day.
Convict en route to court. If I were his attorney, I would insist he snap up his orange jumpsuit! Great restraint belt and leg irons however!
A young inmate making a court appearance in green and white stripes.
Is it an issue if i sag jn jail?
Well, clearly Cody Stiles spent a significant part of his time sagging. It honestly depends on the officer in charge of your cellblock on any given shift!
The solution of course is to issue you a jumpsuit and then I don't have to worry about you sagging!
Waiting to hear what the judge has to say. Orange jumpsuit.
Awesome interrogation or interview restraint for high security / high risk inmates. Also a great psychological message to send the inmate!
Two convicts coming from court. Under long sentences now and just awaiting final transport to State DOC.

Kristian Underdahl, Montana inmate 3013693, born 1995, incarceration intake June 2014 at age 18, sentenced to 60 years, scheduled release date not published
Sexual Intercourse without Consent
In June 2014, a judge sentenced an 18-year-old Great Falls Montana man accused of raping six girls between the ages of 12 and 14 to 60 years in Prison.
After a series of emotional testimony from one victim, two family members of victims, and Underdahl's father, Underdahl was sentenced. Underdahl is also now categorized as a tier three sex offender, and is ineligible for parole until he has completed sex offender treatment during his incarceration.
In handing down the sentence the Judge disregarded a joint plea agreement in which prosecutors recommended 10 years in prison and 35 years’ probation for Kristian Underdahl.
The Judge called Underdahl a “serial rapist” and said there was a high likelihood he would find more victims given the opportunity. Underahl says he feels bad for the people he’s hurt and that sex is like a drug for him.

Then and now....
John H Hawthorne, Florida inmate X71830, born 1990, incarceration intake August 2010 at age 20, scheduled for release August 2044
Murder
In August 2010, a 20-year-old Ocoee Florida man was sentenced to 38 years in prison, followed by five years supervised probation, for murdering a man who he thought was homeless. Initially, John Hawthorne claimed he was defending himself from an attack by 30-year-old Joel Boner, the victim.
Hawthorne said Boner was trying to make a pass at him. But in the end, he was convicted of second-degree murder for Boner's death on July 22, 2009, in the woods near Hawthorne's home.
According to Police reports, shortly before dawn July 22, John Hawthorne and another man, Cameron Milner, who according to the police had been “killing time” all night waiting to cash in a winning lottery tickets for a $2 prize at a nearby 7-Eleven rolled up to Boner's homeless encampment on Hawthorne’s ATV. Hawthorne got off the vehicle and began cutting up Boner’s tent with a 4-inch knife. Boner walked outside; Hawthorne shouted at him to leave the camp. A scuffle ensued and Boner was killed.
The sentencing was emotional. John Hawthorne's attorney wanted a new trial. He said the case never should have been prosecuted as second-degree murder. However, when that failed, he asked that Hawthorne be sentenced as a youthful offender. The Judge denied that motion.

Murder
Deadly assault on his grandmother, because she hid his beer.
Dylan Broughman, the young Jacksonville man awaiting trial on accusations he beat his grandmother to death after she his hid his beer, has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Broughman was sentenced to 20 years in prison as part of the agreement. Had the 20-year-old gone to trial and lost, he could have spent the remainder of his life behind bars. Joyce Courson, 69, died eight days after the October 2016 beating at their Ashridge Drive home in Jacksonville. Before she died, Courson told police it was her grandson who attacked her after she hid his beer while he was showering.
Broughman was given credit for the 1 ½ years he has been in jail while awaiting trial.
The fair-haired boy, he was not…..
