let me explain you a thing

carol's in the middle of a big story, one that's been brewing for months. and it's a little exhausting for me, being in the middle of such a high-energy, high-emotion, high-stakes story with no clue how it's gonna turn out is kind of an emotional drain on me. 

that being said, i'm putting this account on a bit of a hiatus. between the reason i stated above, work being crazy, and a little more drama than i'm comfortable with, i just need to take a step back from the marvel rp for a hot minute. 

once i know what the hell is happening with carol, her powers, and her potential changed friendships (which, if i'm being honest, is kind of stressing me out?!) i'll be right back. as of right now, i just need a break. 

i love u all don't change and if you have my skype please feel free to continue chatting with me! i'm not disappearing from the internet, i simply need a bit of a breather.

Wow, this was ridiculous. She was just sucking everything up like a damn black hole! And there was nothing Brandon could do about it. Absolutely nothing. It frustrates him to hell and back, because really, that means that he has absolutely no edge in this would-be match. None. Maybe his troublesome tongue could turn the tide, but Carol could handle that. She already sassed him enough for three lifetimes.

So a grumble is given in response, jaw sticking out in a pout while blue eyes are narrowed in her direction.

“I hate you so much right now.”

He huffs, albeit dramatically, and crosses his arms over his chest, the white streaks of his suit darkening due to the lack of energy in his now casual form. He pretty much looks like a child about to have a tantrum.

“You better be a good teacher.”

Carol's smirking as the energy around her hands builds up further. The heat and light is intense enough that even Brandon will be able to feel it from where he's standing. Standing and pouting. 

"See, I absorb whatever energy is thrown at me, and I return it with interest," she explains, and her posture is just antagonistic enough that she looks like she might just show him how that interest feels. "So however hard you hit me, I can hit you back ten times as hard." 

Okay, so that's a bit of an exaggeration. There's never any actual numbers involved, but hey. Nothing wrong with being a little impressive, right? Her fingers flex and there's another wave of heat before the energy dissipates, soaking back into her skin, the light and heat fading as she stands up straight once more. 

"But I don't think getting your ass kicked is a lesson you need," she says, running a hand through her hair. "You're probably good at that one by now, right?"
