⤷ Myself: Hello! My name is Elliot/Monty and my pronouns are he/him and clown/clowneir. I like drawing/crafting, cosplaying, playing video games, and rating movies.

I'm currently using this blog to post yumeship and recent Sonic art. (With random rants sometimes) I have posts scheduled/planned until August 30th!

Slight rant/Story time: First art trade

Real quick-- My friend goes by she/he/they so I switch through them when I talk about them. Doing my first art trade with a friend of mine who's been doing those recently! I've been on an art rush, so I finished mine within the hour. :P

I'm so excited to see hers since I asked him to draw my OC; Elliot! :D I hope they allow me to post it here since I'd love to show off her art, especially if he has a Tumblr page too! :] If I can, I'll also share my art for the trade! ^v^

I drew them a cute ferret since it's her favorite animal! ^w^ I showed him the base and the base and they said she loves it so I'm sure he'll love the whole thing even more! :D

Speaking of-- Content warning for parental death! The reason Elliot (originally named Martin) was adopted by Vanilla was because his father was murdered by an extremely violent, experimental badnik and his mother died in child birth.

Vanilla was a close friend of his parents and was open to adopting and taking care of him. Elliot doesn't remember any of this, as it all happened either before he was born or when he was extremely young, and Vanilla has decided not to tell him, and keep him in blissful ignorance.

How it feels to be a yumeshipper and also a multi shipper. :3

Thought it would be funny to recreate in this meme because I thought I had seen someone else remake it but I could only find people adding over PNG heads and text. Maybe I didn't have to redraw the whole thing then. ToT EDIT: I actually found a couple, so that's nice! :]

..No, I'm still glad I did. :] Oh! And fun fact (that will be explored later): Vanilla and Cream are Elliot'e adopted family within the lore, and technically my yume family. :]

They're Sonic characters, so I kind of went back and forth on drawing them without clothes (pants, mainly) but maybe my personal style got in the way, but I chose to draw 'em with clothes.

Was a bit burnt out when I made this one, so it's not my favorite, but I like the idea a lot. :] I've been wanting to redraw that image of Sonic surrounded by all the Amy plushies for a while, so no matter how it turned out I knew I'd like it a bit. :]

Rant: New video game!

I went to a video game store I had never been to, looking for Sonic games, and I found three that I didn't already have! I was specifically looking for "Shadow the Hedgehog", "Sonic Riders" and "Shadow Generations". I didn't find any of those but I bought one of the three games I did find: "Sonic Generations", "Sonic Free Riders" and "Sonic and the Black Knight".

"Sonic Generations" was for the PS5 which I don't own, and "Sonic Free Riders" is the worst of the "Sonic Riders" series.. V_V So I bought "Sonic and the Black Knight" which has a Jet the Hawk cameo!! XD I only have one game with him in it ("Sonic Racing: Crossworlds"), so this is exciting for me! :D

I don't know much about it, but have seen art for it every now and then before finally connecting the dots that the fan art wasn't just for an AU! ToT Here's a picture of Jet and Sonic holding the game and some dried squid I bought at a nearby Asian market. :D

I don't know much about the "Sonic Storybook" series, despite now owning all of it (There's two games). :/ It has a semi-active fan base, and pretty split reviews so I hope I like it since I payed ~$20 dollars on a game I don't know much about, which gives me flash backs to the time I bought four volumes for manga I hadn't heard of (Also for ~$20) that I didn't really like. T~T

Since I shared one picture, I want to take this opportunity to share this picture of Sonic and Jet sitting together with a rainbow pride flag. :] And yes, that is Caine holding a Trans flag in the background. :3

As of August 5th this is the most recent yumeship drawing I've made and it's definitely one of my favorites! The only thing I feel critical about is how I drew Jet's feathers, but it's still really cute. :]

A series I made a while ago of my redesigning Sonic character, only on descriptions!

My absolute favorite is my Amy redesign! From her hair, to eyes and gloves! I like her dress too, but I'd prefer to maybe redo it at some point or draw the overalls version I have in my head. Drawn on July 18, 2026.

This is my most recent- Tangle and Whisper- and I mostly like it, I just wish I could have drawn better outfits for them and maybe a different background. Drawn on July 30, 2026.

This is my first digital drawing for the series and I like how he looks best in the full body drawing! Each of them are different from each other, as they were each meant to be slightly separate ideas. Especially in the face. Drawn on July 11, 2026.

My first redesign was of course Sonic. I'd like to at some point make a better digital version that combines both the designs, but haven't gotten the motivation to do such yet. EDIT: Yesterday (August 7) I made a full Sonic redesign that is scheduled to be posted on August 13!

I haven't came up with a full design for Jet since it feels like a bigger deal to me, but I suddenly had these ideas for his hair that I really wanted to try out. Also haven't drawn an Anthropomorphic bird (100% in my style) in a long time so it's good to practice. Drawn on August 4, 2026. EDIT: Made a drawing today (August 8) which features the face of a better Jet redesign, which is currently scheduled to post on August 18.

Rant: "Bot" messages

Just got two people in a row DMing me. Update below!

Content warning! One (bethspare) asking over and over- ignoring my boundaries, guilt tripping- For me to commission them and ask other family members if they need any art. I really like giving people the benefit of the doubt, but they just felt so scammy; Their Tumblr account was almost blank, but they had a Twitter page where they were getting a lot of commsisions.

The second "person" (sophiatyler001) was someone who started off the conversation by saying something like "I love your story, please share more!" Which confused me off the bat, because I never shared a grandiose story. Just my recent blog introduction; And it was very simple.

The first person got me to feel bad a bit, but it's also a common scam, so I ended up blocking both. (The second quickly)

The first just started with asking how my day was, and since I'm new to this app (kinda), I just thought they wanted a nice chat which honestly sounded fun.. But they just wanted money. If anyone out there is cool and wants to (Even lightly) chat about their day, I'm totally open to! (DMs, comments)

Side rant-- The first person messaged me because of my PFP. :[ I will be making one of Elliot, I just haven't been inspired to. And goats are my favorite animal, so back off! >:[ /lh

Update/Edit! Another "person" (darktavernmissary) just tried to get me to DM them because they had "something important" to tell me, but couldn't message me. I used to get messages like this as a kid on Deviant Art.

As of August 5-- This is absolutely my favorite drawing of Type-E/Spring Green! (My current working ship name) I haven't drawn chibi art in years, but I think this turned out good and really cute! I love drawing Jet getting flustered over Elliot but plan to draw the reverse and as well in the future/soon. :]

Recently thought about using the label/term yumeshipper to describe myself and thought I'd start drawing my Sonic self insert and my favorite character which has been making me really happy. :]

I'm making this blog as a way to archive/share my yumeship art and hopefully connect with others or at least look at some really cool art!

I'll try not to post all at once, but I will warn that I had a day where I spent most of my free time just drawing so my skills start to wain at some point from exhaust. TvT
