• Cyclic and planer structure• Equal bond length• Chemical stability• Ability to undergo substitution reactions• Ability to sustain on induced diamagnetic ring current diatrophic• Conjugated system of π-electrons with effective Delocalisation• All carbon present in the ring must be sp² - Hybridsed
