If you found this blog, it was probably through one of my creations in a real life meat-space. You might be thinking to yourself; who the fuck has a tumblr blog in the year of our lizard overlords 2026.

Me. It's me. I'm the weirdo.

I am a fiber artist, propmaker, costumer, hobby taxidermist, and DIY girlie. Nothing you see is made with AI.

My work comes slowly due to arm injuries catching up with me in my old age. I do not generally take commissions, due to said injuries. I am very bad at resting my arm.

Still a lot of work to do, but my summer project has been a second fursuit head. I decided to try a more cartoony look this time. I've also been back to sketching and decided to make a badge for an upcoming convention, which I then converted into an STL for 3D printing. It was then badly painted and sealed with resin.

Oh. Her name is Bitterthorn.

Last year I decided that, after years of admiring fursuits from afar at conventions, I would begin making my own.

This is Morganite, my forest dragon. Updates are coming to her for a con next month.

I hate when people ask me how long it took me to crochet something I’ve made. Frankly, that’s none of my business. I put the yarn on the hook and worked on it whenever the spirit happened to take me to and then one day it was done. How long that process took is between the yarn and god; I want no part of it.

I don't normally watermark my photos of my crochet, but this one has been used before by someone trying to claim it as an example of their custom work. That they sent to me. Which is hilarious, because it sits next to my desk.

This is Áine. She's made from Expression Fiber Arts Pearlecent yarn, and frankly it's hard to capture the depth of colour in an image. Based on a mishmash of patterns by Crafty Intentions, with several freehand elements.

The gem on her front is moonstone, with two opalite peices on either side. Gemstone resin decorations are by StitchesAndWhimsey on Esty.

Áine is a long running character of mine, and choosing to translate her visual design to crochet was a major motivator in learning amigurumi. Here she is in Second Life.

I didn't intend for this go be a things I made with crafty intentions patterns blog, but they are what I've done most recently.

crafty intentions dragon pattern, I think the large frill is from the Sea serpent pattern. The wings are from a wings pattern pack by the same.

Her name is Pirari. Yarn is Caron brand, can't recall which one.
