Realizing I haven’t posted in over a year, I’m happy to say a lot has happened since. Most significantly we completed the move to Colorado in the middle of winter (RIP house plants that didn’t make it 🌱). While it hasn’t been the most restful holiday, I’m eternally thankful for @miqueldavies and @pepperandjojo as companions in these adventures. Through the DC Riversmart Homes program we worked with @loveandcarrots to get this great Bayscape installed. The native plants help reduce stormwater runoff and attract pollinators. We’ve also used the program to install rain barrels and plant shade trees that help reduce our home’s water and energy usage. Halloween decorations and dog sold separately.
