Jimmy Shergill is the undisputed Indian Javier Peña. But I can see some Javier Peña vibes in Singham. Especially the stance and the demeanor.

(Fun fact: Pedro and Ajay Devgn share the same birthday, with Ajay being a few years older).

I do see Ranveer Singh in Simmba copying this style too. But the Javier Peña vibes are not as pronounce as they are with Ajay Devgn or Jimmy Shergill (although in real life, Pedro's personality is more similar to Ranveer's, albeit with less hyperactive energy).

There is this beautiful Narcos fic where Javier falls for a young lady in his hometown and my faceclaim for her went directly to Alia Bhatt. So here is to this crackpair.

I can't wait to see the finished product of A Strange Way of Life by Pedro Almodóvar.

I have the AU fanfiction in my head with Silva (Pedro Pascal's character) and Silas Selleck (Michael Fassbender's character in Slow West) as well as a crossover of character from both films and The Year of the Dog (I am still thinking what to do with the Kodi Smit McPhee issue).

But I need to watch A Strange Way of Life to know Silva and see how he and Silas will fit as a couple.

I also hope Almodovar doesn't give Silva a first name. Or we have the coincidence of the name Saul (or any first name with S)

I have some scenes and dialogues, but I still need to know Silva's personality.

But because this world is not perfect, they cast Ethan Hawke (who, don’t get me wrong, is good), instead of Fassy who has already played an implicitly gay cowboy.

OK, Ethan already has gay cowboy experience. But I still want that Fassy-Pedro thing to happen, and I think Almodóvar would have been an ideal director.

The difference is that Oberyn Martell is an anti-hero and Alauddin Khilji is a villain, but these bisexual princes… epic!
