Because it’s come up a few times and some people have shown interest in this dumbass as well I figured it’s best to cover grounds really quick like here and now! While he’s shippable there’s a few things that need to be taken into mind as a whole.
He’s nice to some extent he’s not going to be sugar, sweet nice and domestic once he’s with someone.
He’s that rough person that’s gentle enough to someone he cares about but he’s got his nasty moments as well when it comes to things because he’s blunt about things. That said and I think I’ve said it on my blog rules or bio itself he’s not someone that really cares about people that he deems annoying, or too damn goody-goody.
Those aren’t his preferred type of people to some extent. Yeah nice people are cool in his books, but if it’s none stop to the point, they don’t know how to get pissed he’ll lose a lot of interest. Literally he’s that person that likes a person that’s a spitfire, will tell him to fuck off in his face, probably try to murder him too for all he cares.
Someone that’s bland all around with their personality he won’t hate them but he’ll feel fucking bored as shit around though. He’ll treat them kindly yeah no problem there but he wouldn’t befriend them, or assist them anytime soon unless there’s something in it for him.
If your muses fall under the nice train you’re gonna need to plot things out for this guy to even get some interest. That’s all i can really say.

Basing more of his story with the lore of the red-crowned crane and the Japanese lore he did by all means offer up a sacrifice. that said it doesn’t mean that his acts in life were immediately forgiven at all. No rather at the time of his death mixed in with the desire to not actually leave his servant behind as well, it was more then enough for what one could consider a visit from the Crown God itself. When he’d been pulled into his first Grail War ten years prior to his current verse he did in fact lose his life. Thanks to the fact that he had sacrificed his own life, and still has that desire it was enough for him get a pass for the current situation.
Due to it saying that they can live up to 1000 years and as well as being the one that carries the souls of the dead to paradise that’s carried into how, and why he is what he is currently. With his sacrifice acknowledged on both ends and the Crane God’s time coming to a close itself on his death it was close to a perfect opportunity for the god. Things of course are never easy and while it was a welcomed opportunity for the god it did come with its own rules in order for Luciel to get his wish.
thanks to the fact that the god was dying anyways it offered up itself to take his place in paradise itself after mentioning that he was not permitted the luxury of death just yet. Being offered a favor as a means of fulfilling one in place he was set with a simple set of rules.
The first one is that he is NOT permitted to decline the offer, lest he wish to burn for his sins in life, the second is that he has only until the end of the next Grail War to fulfill his ’redemption’ in order to be given a chance of ‘ death ‘. Even if he’s able to fulfill it within that time he’ll still be stuck in the throne of heroes once it’s over thanks to his selflessness in his younger years. Never-ending is his punishment until he’s able to win that grail war with the possible reincarnation of his servant one day.
His fate itself is tied to his former servant, but that’s something he doesn’t mention ever. thirdly he HAS to take the place of the Crane God in some many. The god itself is very much aware of how much he does care for his former servant so while the time limit is there it’s just a means of pushing him to attempt to correct his wrongs just a bit, though it knows it’s wishful thinking at best.
With little choice honestly, he does pick the option that’s presented to him seeing as it’s just as good as it’ll get. There’s that along with the fact that it’s his only real choice as well lest like it has been stated he lives through burning for his actions in life. That said he is granted that wish he, will end up taking the crane god’s place therefore he is on a large technical a god once he’s a servant, but it’s not something he really bothers with boasting about.
While the god does know that Luciel isn’t the most ideal it was thankful that he still believed in the folklore of the crane and the thousand paper cranes lore as well. Sometimes childish wonderment and beliefs work out, and because of that Luciel does live his second life with thankfulness. Even if he hates the idea that he had no choice.
Just because he’s the replacement god doesn’t mean he really considers himself one at all. If only because he’s a means of being a replacement and he was/is human he’s weaker then an actual divine god and just a bit below a demi-god. He’s not a natural born god so because of that he does come with his own limitations for things.
This is something he doesn’t really like talking about at all because he does have a few feelings of being a fake, when he’s technically not. Adding onto this some more lastly, there is a crane tattoo on his back that extends to his arms just a bit. That’s his marking of death, along with a reminder that he’s living on borrowed time
Ahahaha! Ah… Luciel, you never cease to amuse me. Which is why despite your constant aggravations and annoyances, I still keep you around.
My desires to do things, how I offer generosities to the masses– they change. There are times when I feel one must earn a gift, where other times I simply don’t wish to go through all that effort and just give it away without a second thought. However, for the sake of your pride and your desire for excitement… I won’t spoil you.
For me though.. being fucked, as you so crudely put it, and having someone chase after me are both two sides of the same coin.
I’ll continue doing things on a whim, no matter what those whims are. If that means having you clean the mess up afterward… well, that’s your problem, not mine.

If I was boring, I'm pretty sure I’d be dead, or end up being walked on by you often. I’m here to amuse when need be, but still you’re just as much as a pain in the ass as I am. Probably why I like having you around among other things. You’re a fickle man sometimes, though I’ll give you credit when you offer moments of generosities you don't hold back at all. If I’ve got it in my own power, I’ll spoil you how's that for a momentary change of pace? Of course, you need to earn it like any other person.

I’ve been mistaken then. I was always under the impression you wanted something more from me– I even contemplated on giving it to you. Considering how much effort you put into summoning me again… and how you attempt to win me over respectfully, as you put it.
Anyways, I’ve only lived in two different instances– it’s not as big of a misfortune as you think. The true misfortune is having to acclimate to the time… which only progressively grows far and far more vulgar and putrid.
This may already be obvious, but I don’t care much about being someone’s servant. The idea of serving anyone is a disgusting one.

You’re wrong about the first part, as for wanting something from you I never hid it ever. I do want something from you.Course if you give it to me, I’ll feel more like I didn’t earn it so much as letting you half-ass spoil me by just handing it over. I said it was boring without you here so I would go through hell and back to get you back here all over again if need be. Almost sounds like you prefer the being fucked option over actually having someone chase after you genuinely.
