HEROES WERE SO ANNOYING. That was a universal truth to anyone who flew below the line of being good , even minor villains like Mistum. She did things that patrons paid her for , she didn’t ask the purpose behind the jobs , all she knew is that someone wanted them done.
To her , it didn’t matter if they wanted a heroic deed done or a villainous one , if they could reach her , and they had the money , they would have their task completed. She had , at only sixteen , many crimes under her belt. A string of murders , arson , theft , the list could go on. She did heroic things , like bodyguard work and spying on other villains , of course. Just those tasks were less frequent and fewer than villainous deeds in her track record.
And this night was no different ; some ( and in her humble opinion : fucking cheap ) guy had paid for a hit on his brother , some politician. Being a teenager , she really didn’t care , but a job was a job. Donning her villain outfit and mask , she made her way to the guy’s home , but stops a few blocks away when she sees a damn UA student.
Hides behind a nearby building when she sees him --- doubt she’d go unnoticed , with her bright outfit in the otherwise darkness of the early night. Reaches for the gun she keeps hidden away in the sash on her waist --- which served as a discreet purse in functionality , makes sure the gun is loaded.
Her quirk was the exact opposite of violent , it could make people become more relaxed and happy in situations , even in fights. Even her aura was calming to those around her , so relying on an old fashioned gun was a favorite even though she could do hand to hand combat well enough.
Emerging again , she squares her shoulders and approaches him boldly , eyeing him from behind her mask.
“ Nice night for a stroll , isn’t it ?? ” she won’t hide the gun held at her side , she’s speaking to give her quirk time. Seeing if he can be relaxed by aura alone , testing the water.
