Here is my title sequence and animated logo spliced together. Consideration was given to the space between these and the main film. I wanted the the 3 to flow smoothly when played together. So i spent a bit of time working of the music making sure it faded from one scene to the next. I like the way music and sound can set a mood before an image is even seen.
The same song was used for the title sequence but I cut it up into about 3 or 4 different bits. I wanted out names to all be the same length film AND to match the high low points of the song. So it took another few hours to match the two up.
During out editing process, we've had to go back and watch some more 80's trailers. We dont have much time left and the editing process is diccicult to start as we all kinda have opinions on how it should roll out.
Unedited film shots.
uneditied film
An example of what filming was actually like. This is us doing the slap scene. It was just too damn funny as I could see Daniel but the camera coudlnt. So i could see him movinf to slap me form ages away.
Title sequence
So Iv'e finished my title sequence. Needless to say I spent an insane amount of time of it haha. Probably a little longer than i should. i just really wanted to nail it. Maybe 30+ hours all up, probably more.
Just a rough shot of my packaging all put together
So the colour select roto tool is taking too much time and looks shit anyway, We've decided to ditch it and just go black and white.
Some snap shot of my title sequence in progress. Im almost finished not just have to tweek it a bit and add sound. I put smoke in the background behind the images so its not just black and to help add depth as it is 3d. Just wanted to point that out haha
Working really well. Good efforts from every one.
4th and final day of filming went well. We got together and just smashed it out. We made up a few extra scenes just based on the shit we found around megs amazing emporium of a house. We would just pick something up and be like "you know what would be cool" and just fucking film it as we went.
Just another shot from the day
These are a few shots from the film shoot i organised. Me just playing with colour and placement. As they are linked PSD's I can edit them in photoshop and they update in after effects, So I'm playing around to see what looks best as I'm editing my title sequence.
Finding foam is proving more difficult than i first thought. Like very difficult as I dont own a car
We had the idea of making the film black and white and red. When picking the costumes and sets we keep that in mind and place red in apprioperate \ places. For example I am wearing a bright red tie
I worked again with Dani on my title sequence. I usually come into some problem or have some new idea i wanna try and shes been amazing in helping me. All in all the title sequence is coming together well
