Meet Edward. A shy, socially awkward young man just embarking on life on his own; well sort of his own. He recently inherited a beach resort from his grandfather, Jacob and decided to move, with the help of his twin sister, Ellys.
Edward and Ellys were always close, as twins they knew what each other was thinking and feeling without ever saying a word. They each knew neither of them craved the typical life that their parents expected them to live back home. The truth is, they were both desperate to start a life out of the family’s lime light. Ellys never had any interest in guys. She found most of them arrogant. "Grown children", she called them. Edward on the other hand could see the beauty in both men and women, not that he would ever say that out loud to anyone. It was the 1920s after all. A guy could get into a lot of trouble that way.
While Ellys was always the partier, Edward preferred the quiet of home and the company of his faithful dog, Jack. If Edward ever did settle down with someone, he knew they would have to win Jack’s heart first.
As Edward and Ellys arrive in Roaring Heights they can’t help but wonder what life on their own will be like.
What an adventure!
