I am a huge House of the Dragon fan. And one of my favorite characters is Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. She has shown grace, bravery, and loyalty in times of war and was willing to sacrifice her life for her queen. Her love for Corlys Velaryon is unmatched and they were a power couple on this show and the books. Her dragon, Meleys, also known as the Red Queen was a companion of Rhaenys until their very last day together. The flamingo flowers in this picture signifies long lasting love and friendship that was taken away too soon.

I want to give a special shoutout to @luciensdefenseattorney for making this happen. We share the same love for Rhaenys and I knew she will do it justice. 💕🫶

Just doing a cheeky bit of investigating re. Rhaenys’ High Valyrian dialogue to Meleys because I couldn’t hear exactly what she said and:

“Vīlībāzmot arlī, riñalbus.”

‘riña’ (girl) + ‘-albar’ (augmentative, makes the noun more intense, e.g. super-, mega-, arch-) = ‘riñalbar’

Rhaenys really out here calling Meleys her big girl, her supergirl, her megagirl, her number one girly 😭
