Robin felt useless, there was nothing she could do to help so instead she just stood there worrying. Her mind went to Xavier. Would she see him again? What was the last thing she said to him, she hoped it wasnât something cruel? Running a hand through her hair she closed her eyes trying to control her emotions. Within a few seconds, she heard a familiar voice. Panic flooded her. âNo, please no. Fuck. Please tell me, Iâm imagining this.â She stated aloud as she opened her eyes to see her brother standing in front of you. Throwing herself into his arm she apologised repeatedly. âIâm so sorry Xav. Youâre not supposed to be here. I didnât mean to get you here.âÂ
Xav had been in the middle of a conversation, or at least heâd been up to his usual mischievous behavior and favourite past time of annoying Odessa, when he felt the familiar tugging sensation that came along with his sisterâs power whenever she summoned him. âNow I know you miss me and my amazing company but yâknow, ya cudda just called.â He teased with a grin as he materialized. It was only as he heard the panic in her voice and the look on her face that he realised something serious was going on causing him to freeze on the spot. Xavier managed to prepare himself in time to catch her as she threw herself at him. âHey, hey, hey. Itâs okay, everythingâs going to be okay.â He attempted to calm her down as he wrapped his arms around her tightly in a hug and pressed a kiss into her hair, muttering words of comfort. âYou know that you can call on me no matter what, I want to be here if youâre in trouble. Thereâs no other place I would rather be, Robin. Now how about you tell me whatâs going on?â
