Unlike most other contemporary rappers which come from an urban life experience, Glenn Simon aka Cre8ive was born and raised in the Northern New Jersey suburb of Parsippany-Troy Hills. American He is bi-racial, with a German mother who is a painter and art teacher and African American father who is a metal sculptor and musician. From the time he was born, he was constantly exposed to visual art an...d all types of music. “Because of my mixed heritage and the fact that I was accepted by both sides of my family, I was given the unique opportunity to view life from two perspectives.” Cre8ive grew up with close friends that were made up of many races and ethnicities. He began writing lyrics and rapping in the sixth grade to the delight and encouragement of his family and friends. He developed an extensive vocabulary at a very young age and his rhymes have always been known for their complexity and quick wit. He was influenced by the music of  Outkast, Atmosphere, Notorius BIG, Busta Rhymes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime. Associated with “Sweat Shop” Johnny “Reepa” Ruggiero, Cre8ive has been performing for several years in venues around New Jersey and New York. He has appeared at “The Blue Room” in Secaucus, NJ, opening for Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli and KRS-1. Cre8ive is well known as a free-style master, lyricist and composer. Crea8ive has aspirations to spread his music and network. He is ready to continue making contributions to his music venue by finding new ways of creating beats and rhymes. In person, his stage presence and energetic performances transfix his audience. Hopefully he will soon get the well-deserved attention of a record label.
