"Stupid Masao…" Noriko grumbled as she walked through the halls of the abandoned hospital her flashlight held tightly in her hands. After betting her that she couldn’t last one hour inside the supposedly haunted hospital, Noriko decided to take him on that bet saying that she’ll stay for two hours. However, as time passed the pale haired girl was beginning to regret her decision more and more.
Walking through one of the dirt covered halls, Noriko continued to delve deeper and deeper into the abandoned place. A chill ran down her spine as she heard a clicking noise echoing throughout the halls. Thinking it to be nothing more than a bug, the snowy haired girl gulped and continued forward.
Jumping a bit when she heard the sound of nails scraping along the tiled walls that surrounded her, Noriko felt sweat begin to fall down her brow. Her eyes darting from side to side, she gulped standing still for a while as a cold breeze blew through the dark dank halls. Shivering, Noriko stood still “H-Hello?” She called out her small voice echoing loudly “M-Masao…if…if that’s you, its not funny!” Noriko said trying to act brave despite her timid voice.
Taking the opportunity, the demoness made herself unable to be seen just long enough to pull on the girls hair, then rush back into an empty room to restore the energy needed for that trick. The human girl couldn't see it, but there was a thick fog of fear growing around her, and the demon couldn't help but feel a little relived. She usually fasted during the first new months where children returned to school, not many came back until holidays. It was part of the reason Ari tended to look skeletal during certain seasons.
She looked around, thanking the fact she was dark toned, so it was easy to shut a door behind the girl. She just hoped that the girl didn't try jumping out a window.
