Prom night AU

I initially made these doodles after a dream I had in June 2023 where Azul was wearing a cute puffy lavender dress on prom night, hoping that someone would invite him to dance and give him his first kiss on this special occasion. But unfortunately, he left the party and hid in the bathroom to cry, humiliated after some random told him that "dresses are for girls".

I sketched Idia right after, wearing this nice dark blue toga, thinking that it would be fun for them to realize they're the two only boys wearing "dresses" as they bump into each other in the bathroom.

I'm currently working on a comic inspired by this, I hope I can show more of it very soon. 💖

Surprise, IdiAzu is not the only pairing that I like- This illustration was meant for an AU where Jade is your typical fairytale merfolk, scared of commitment because he was told all his life he would turn into foam if a human breaks his heart. That's when Trey comes to him and confesses his feelings.
