The Slaughtered Lamb appears like a swanky restaurant and bar, priding itself on serving the finest of foods. The place is riddled with demons, as it serves as an underground demon hideout--a place they can go to get away from the Shadowhunters of the world and possibly plan to take over it.

The Dollhouse is New Orleans’ local strip club, although it claims that it is a “eloquent establishment.” It serves fancy drinks, has tight security, and every girl who works there goes through a process. It also runs rampant with underground businesses; the dirtier, the better.

Shotgun Lane is a neighborhood riddled with, you guessed it, Shotgun houses. They aren’t as nice or big as the wealthier parts of New Orleans, but they’re better than living on the streets.

The Beets is a restaurant/cafe that prides itself on its live music. If you didn’t guess by the name, it’s main and fan-favorite dish contains beets. Every weekend, The Beets hosts open mic night for any aspiring musicians as well as welcomed regulars.

On the outside, Pomegranate appears to be an upscale restaurant. And in a lot of ways, it is. It holds a dark secret, though: it prides itself on rare and exotic foods, including human blood. Both vampires and their willing victims frequent here, so mundanes or otherwise weary/naive individuals should steer clear unless they wish to get into a heap of trouble.

Mothe Funeral Home is family owned and operated by Nicholas Belcourte. It’s one of the oldest funeral homes in New Orleans, built around the turn of the century. You’ll find at Mothe what you won’t find at any of the bigger name monopoly of Funeral homes out there, individualized service and intimacy from the small, slightly odd, staff. There is one visitation room and a large chapel that seats around 150 people, have the peace of mind that you can honor your loved ones memories without another grieving family doing it in another visitation room right across the hall.

Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Adults is an academy of witchcraft where young witches are automatically enrolled once their powers have been uncovered. It is here that they are taught the history of their kind and how to discover and control their abilities.

As the name suggests, this salon is run by Marie Laveau. She is the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans and one of the witches who has raged the war of creatures. If you enter her Salon, you better have good reason to or at least know Marie and/or any of the workers.

The Lower 9th Ward is a neighborhood in New Orleans that was hit the hardest by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It has gone through many renovations, first by the Make It Right foundation in which houses are sustainable, energy-efficient, and safe, and later by Build Now which helped move families back to their homes. Despite their efforts, in 2012 it was reported that the neighborhood has become a dumping ground for unwanted things.

The New Orleans Public Library is open seven days a week and is outfitted with a computer center as well as a large collection of books, cds, and dvds.
