When your fandom started before ship names were a thing…

We just said L&C to shorten for Lois and Clark. And then when there was a Lois clone…and a whole very traumatizing wedding arc (arggggggh, as we called it)… well, we named the clone Clois. We called her Clois. And therefore the term “Clois” evokes all sorts of squick and trauma and angst feelings (and not in a good way angst).

I’m not sure when it happened…maybe with CW’s Smallville? But now, it’s a thing. It’s a thing that L&C’s ship name is Clois.

And I am not okay. *cries in old folc tears*
