With his Spring Summer 2015 collection, Hong Bum Kim, designer behind the label, CRES. E DIM., offers styles that are elegant in their minimalism-from crop tops and structured jackets to relaxed extra long pants and coats with striped puffy sleeves-while geometric touches give the designs a futuristic look, boldly reminding us that everything here is "Real." And wearable.

Crisp whites are paired with classic black or navy as a red stripe and bright blue triangular patch add vitality to a black jacket and shorts ensemble. The looks are oversized - even boxy - but softness wins out.

Indeed, the Korean designer, who likes to base his fashions on musical terms, calls his work CRES. E DIM., short for "crescendo e diminuendo." He translates the phrase as "stronger and stronger" and "softer and softer." There is no doubt that this not only embodies the philosophy behind the label but also defines the unpretentious yet polished collection.
