She nods

He leads her to the kids section. "Pick one or two books okay" he smiles
She nodded and did so excitedly. She ended up picking pickalicious and another short story

Lionel flicked the cigarette he was smoking off to the side as he focused on the individual passing by, that would be his target for this assignment. Another undercover case. He didnât want to be doing this, he hated undercover cases.Â
He got out of his car wearing a casual outfit, not one that would give him away. A plain shirt, blue jeans, and beat up converse. Something youâd see him wear when he was off the clock.Â
Bailey frowned. âNo. I donât want protection. Itâs not your job to worry about me anymore.â She said. âThatâs okay. Itâs not a big deal. Just thought it might be nice. Might swing by. See some of my girls. And it would be nice to get out of the house. And maybe you can get a look at this guy. See if you recognize him.â
âSo let me get this straight. Youâre being stalked and dont want protection?
âI didnt think youâd want to protect me. Weâre not sleeping together anymore. Whatâs in it for you? Just wanted to make sure you didnât want me dead.

A little later Bailey slipped out of her apartment to go for a walk and see how closely this guy really was following her.

Bailey dressed down. What looked to be an attempt to make Jayleen want her again. It was sad really but she missed the womanâs touch and it was bad enough that she was starting to think her tail was cute.

Roxy was desperately trying to find her partner and she had narrowed it down to a couple boys in her class. Ayden. And aydens brothee.
âY-yeah, im fine,â Haze shrugged it off Roxy looked skeptical but didnât want to push him in front of his friends
Ayden takes his hand hoping that helps him calm down
âWe should get going or weâll be late for class...â
Ayden nods
Theo looks at Roxy. "Wanna sit with me at lunch
âSince When do you sit with me?â Roxy asked, raising her brow and crossing her arms defensively once more
"I don't want to keep making Ayden sad so I thought I'd say sorry for everything and try to get along
She wasn't entirely buying it but agreed to let him hang out with her at lunch
"Thank you
"Yeah... Sure.." She said.
He smiles. "Congrats on your mark"
Ayden was still quiet in class.
Haze sat by bis friend and offered support
Before long lunch rolled around. As promised Roxy let Theo sit with her but haze had a plan of his own
"Hey.. Ayden.. Can we go talk...?'
Ayden nods. "Sure" he whispers not talking to loud
Theo got a bad feeling and watched
"Lets go somewhere quiet.."
"Sooooo who do you think it is?' Roxy asked theo, bored out of her mind and wanting conversation
Ayden holds haze's hand as they leave
"Hmm who do I think my soulmate is
"Who do you think it is...?' Haze asked quietly.
"Yeah..." Roxy shrugged
"Honstly...and don't freak out...you"
"I dunno it was pink for the longest time so their hiding
"Is... Is that okay..? I know you've had athing for roxy like.. Forever
"I knew it wasn't her...I tricked myself into thinking it was so my parents wouldn't get that mad..."
"I think theo and roxy are soulmates..."

Mona was dressed to kill that night she was supposed to get info from a rival leader so she was sent to seduce the man. She didnât know Lional was there
He kept to himself, noticing her but not letting her see him. Sheâd blow his cover and he knew it. The last thing he wanted was for her to open her mouth or let the others know she knew him. He slinked off into a dark corner of the building
She walks in the club and looks around for the boss
Lionel had of course given the group a fake name when he integrated in. Calling himself Taylor instead while here. He kept a close eye on Mona but maintained a safe distance. Waiting to see if she would end uo alone
Mona did she eventually disappeared into a dancers only room

She had no idea she was being followed so she went about her job
He waited for her outside patiently. Tapping his foot and ready to grab her
She walks out and was dressed in a skimpy little set which happened to be in lionelâs favorite color
He cupped his hand over her mouth and dragged her somewhere secluded and dark

Lionel smoked even outside of jobs and didn't bother to put it out when she looked away.
"I know you do princess but our jobs are two very different ones. You're lucky enough to be free. I can give you two days to gather your info up but after that i can't help."
