#wow this comparison just reminds me that john crichton is not an imposing presence at all #his ridiculous love for everyone and everything is imposing and literally universe-consuming #but he’s not a commander or leader #that’s aeryn’s job. #and that’s the major difference between him and cam I think #cam is a leader and has a strong presence that makes people listen to him even when he’s the newbie #where john is just a guy trying to survive with his makeshift family #it’s one reason lambs to the slaughter is so heartbreaking because crichton’s pushed to the point where he *has* to be a leader #he has no idea what to do though and it wrecks him after like 5 mins poor bby #like in my head #4th gif down sums up crichton perfectly where 3rd down sums up cam #idk man (via tasteoftheusual)
