So Hello…

I admit, a 4 year hiatus suddenly and without warning is probably not good ill-advised. I sort of, well…

I forgot. I literally forgot I had a blog. Crazy, I know! But true. There were also a lot of other things that happened in my life that have led me to where I am now. Whoops I guess? I had 3 kids, bought a house and adopted 2 kittens honestly, have been through it for the last couple years. Coming out of an abusive relationship, discovering I’m autistic, meeting the love of my life, getting a job, accepting who I really am and getting ready to start university really takes a toll on you. I’m getting there. But hey, you live and you learn. You’re due an updated about me…

ABOUT ME

I’m Milk/Kass, I will go by either. I use he/they pronouns and I label myself as nonbinary. I’m 19 and live in the UK. I like to travel, play games of all varieties and cook for the most part. I don’t really have a favourite colour but if I had to choose I would probably say red.

I play dungeons and dragons when I’m able and have been running campaigns for over a year (it’s a whole thing). It really opened my eyes as to what I want to do for the rest of my life. I’m a gamer through and through and designing games is for me. I also do art. I promise I have improved. I love telling stories in any form I can, whether it be acting , writing or drawing. I guess you can say I’m a creative at heart.

I don’t really keep track of my personality types anymore but I like to keep my irl circles quite small and I struggle to keep up contact with people, making it difficult to maintain some friendships. I’m open to talk most of the time although I am extremely busy with my job at the moment. I like to have specific schedules and struggle when things change.

I love burritos, like so much. Especially pork burritos. Or char siu bao buns. Or my partner’s mum’s shepherd’s pie. If I had to pick a favourite savoury food…those would be my top three. My favourite sweet treats are probably maple pecan plaits, hot cookie dough and pistachio chocolates. I’m very partial to a lemon iced tea at the moment as well and will rarely say no to a diet pepsi (NOT COKE).

I listen to a lot of music but my current favourite artists are Chappell Roan, Jesse Detor, Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots and Conan Gray. I don’t think that list will change too much. My favourite songs right now are Peter (Taylor Swift), Red Wine Supernova (Chappell Roan), Backslide (Twenty One Pilots) and Mirror (Jesse Detor).

As I mentioned before, I enjoy playing games. Some of my recent plays include Baldur’s Gate 3, Beacon Pines, Stray Gods, Paper Mario: A Thousand Year Door, Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Odyssey and a LOT of Pokemon games. I also collect Pokemon cards (gambling).

I don’t watch much anime anymore (due to not having time) but I am STILL a fan of haikyuu and mha. I don’t think that will ever change. I’m currently watching Criminal Minds for the first time and it’s very fun to watch. Voltron: Legendary Defender will always have my heart too.

I don’t know how active I’ll be but I will try. That’s all anybody can do.

I love using Dabi’s voice to add scathing social commentary on bnha’s society in my writing because there’s so much that’s super wrong when you look at it closely enough, and the fact that he’s one of the few characters who voices it on screen makes him my fave by default even if the Touya theory is still unconfirmed. Like. Even without taking into account how his trauma likely influenced this worldview of his, it’s undeniable that Dabi established himself as the voice of dissent from the Hero Establishment from the get go, by subscribing to Stain’s will and planning to succeed where he failed. And then by being the only character of the show to ever remark just how not normal the normalcy of dragging kids into a war actually is. Not even Stain - who in so many ways is still a defender of the status quo, even if he vouched for more selective criterias - saw anything wrong with that. Dabi is just. Such a great character. I think it’s amazing how much we’re able to infer about his thoughts and beliefs based on how little about himself he’s actually revealed.

please can i have a matchup? I’m a girl and I like any gender. I’m extroverted and can be brutally honest at times. I’m a big flirt and I don’t sleep that much. I get bored easily so I have a lot of creative hobbies to try and prevent that (songwriting, poetry, writing, drawing etc). He needs someone to keep him in line and sometimes the only way to get him to stop overworking himself is to call him out on it

And then pride would surge through him because you totally defended your friends

He would back you up, especially if it’s more than one person bothering you

Honestly you might have to deal with some jealous fans…

But Oikawa doesn’t waste his time trying to cater to them, he’s always on your side

He is good at calming you down by giving you distractions

Oikawa is understanding of how it feels to be clouded by emotions, so knows pretty well how to help it

Anytime you guys play games together, it always ends up with playful banter

Especially racing games...

The first times he loses, he says he’s gonna completely destroy you the next round

If he keeps losing...He’s gonna start pouting

"What’s wrong Tooru? Are you finally accepting your defeat?”

And just like that he’s competitive again

Cooking with Oikawa either goes very well or very bad

He knows how to do a few dishes really good, but that’s because he practices them

He isn’t good at cooking anything first try and it takes him a lot of attempts to get new recipes down

But he is very efficient at skills like chopping and cutting up ingredients, or stirring them together

It’s just the proportions he has trouble figuring out

So you have to watch him and tell him when to stop adding

"Are you sure we don’t need more…?”

The way you carry yourself really influences Oikawa

He is known for his confident demeanor, but it’s often used to shadow his insecurities

the gay panic defense states that if someone finds out you are gay you do not need to have threatened them, spoken to them, or even know of their existence- they now have the right to murder you under self-defense laws bc you letting them find out you’re gay antagonized and “panicked” them.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
