Even if the life of others might be a lot better than you, you've got no right to invalidate what they feel. After invalidation, how are they supposed to say what they feel? Who should they trust? Who should they tell...if others would always think that they're feeling so much for what you think is a "too small" problem. Not because you can overcome situations effortlessly, others would carry their burden with the same weight. We grow up differently.

I have myopia and astigmatism. 600 and 625 is my eye grade. I am wearing glasses since 2nd grade (100+ eye grade). I'm not sure, but maybe my eyes are like this since I was born. It has gotten bad in college and became worst in law school since there were several cases to read, not to mention that I was both full time employee and student back then. As expected, my eye grade doubled, big time. In my lifetime, I never had a memory of seeing the world clear without glasses. Too frustrated, I even wished to experience it AT LEAST ONCE when I was seven. I just want to know how it feels like. JUST ONCE, AT LEAST ONCE. But miracle didn't happen. However, as I grow older, believe me or not, I became grateful for my eyes. I may not see the world clearer as I wish, but I am grateful that I can see, this is the greatest miracle. I am able to identify the colors, shapes, and see wonderful faces. And that is somehow enough for me. I would love to undergo lasic surgery in the future, but it isn't a necessity. Maybe someday, but not a priority.
