WHIRLINGINROSES AI ACCUSATION
As some of you have witnessed, Paladin Feora went about accusing whirlingingroses of using AI on twitter (while blatantly ignoring Calolily's AI usage).
We decided to take a deeper look into this matter, and we do believe Paladin Feora created the account in some petty attempt at revenge. We will explain our reasoning towards the end.
Firstly, lets begin with the post that started it all and the day it occurred on May 26th, 2026.
The first image you will see below is a snapshot of Clearsky showing whirlinginroses, who blocked Paladin Feora on May 25th, specifically at 4:30 PM EDT.
Then you see after that how that very next day (May 26th, 2026 at 10:20 AM EDT), Paladin accuses Rose of using GenAI. Just this alone shows a vindictive attitude that Paladin has portrayed numerous times in the past, because the same day Paladin gets blocked they block the person back (which you can see for yourself on Clearsky). And then, they post a callout against the person that blocked them fairly quickly--- it's more than just suspicious that this happened in less than a day.
After this, Paladin continued to berate Rose, and also brought in another user named Somniatica who they also accused of AI. We were told by another anon that Somniatica was once a mod on the Love and Marriage Zine (which is now no longer on bluesky since Lynz deactivated), but it would appear there was a past falling out there as well. If anyone has more information to help clarify things, send it our way.
And then we have another user questioning why Paladin even knows about these accounts, and if they are just randomly searching on that website to find them. This is exactly where our digging shows that this was all likely staged for a while and ammunition was prepared in the event that Rose blocked Paladin.
On Bluesky, Rose posted a reply about the situation, as we are showing here. Her response was posted the day of on May 26th, 2026 at 10:47 AM EDT, just shy of half an hour after Paladin posted the accusation.
So now we get to when someone replies to Paladin's posts with claims that Paladin themselves is using character.ai. The responses occurred on May 26th, 2026 starting at 5:55 PM EDT.
Now here is where things get interesting, and you will see why later on so make sure to pay close attention to this section. Below is Paladin's response to the above, where she quite literally outs herself by stating she 'thought ahead on this.'
To those unfamiliar, what Paladin is showing isn't a web browser page of the link being dead. It a screenshot of the Web Archive where a capture was taken showing no link exists, and it was captured on May 13th. Again, keep this information is mind.
We aren't too sure why Paladin linked their twitter account in that response, so we can't comment on it. However, we can speak on the c.ai account link in question and we will explain it via this next series of images.
Now, when you would click on the link to the PaladinFeora account provided on twitter at the time, it would indeed go to an error page on the website, which was very strange. However, when we tried to access it that way it was well past when these twitter replies were posted, meaning we couldn't see the original and if it was spelled with an L or a capital i.
We do, however want to point out a few things about this:
it would make zero sense for someone to spell Paladin with a capital i if trying to prove a point. While we cannot truly prove the origin of that account, its very possible that Paladin did indeed create an account, went in and changed the name to thus change the code output to pretend it was an impersonation. One reason we suspect this is due to Paladin showing the web archive instead of a screenshot leading to the character.ai page itself.
However, its entirely possible that the account was created by that person in the screenshots to show just how easy it is to fake an account. Still, spelling it wrong would serve no purpose.
And this is where we get to our breakdown. What we did was create our own account under the name crimesforposting on character/ai, and made a capture on the Web Archive to show the day that we made it on May 31st, 2026.
Next is the web archive shot showing the day we we did it, marching the date in the bottom corner of the screenshot above.
Next what we did is test if changing the username to crimezforposting (replaced 's' with 'z') would have any effect on the web archive capture, and it didn't (you can see it yourselves if you go to the link below).
https://web.archive.org/web/20251101000000*/https://character.ai/profile/crimesforposting
We also waited to see if the archive would capture this new name version for a bit, but that never happened. You can see here where we took this image on June 3rd and it hasn't been captured, despite us keeping the name with the 'z' still.
https://web.archive.org/web/20261101000000*/https://character.ai/profile/crimezforposting
Now, to explain a bit about how the Web Archive works. It actively crawls the internet to take snapshots of public-facing posts and account pages on many websites and social media sites, but what we uncovered through some research is that it doesn't actively crawl the character.ai page very often. That means many captures on that website in general were probably taken manually, like the one we did above with our original username.
If you recall what we showed regarding Paladin presenting a screenshot of the web archive to state that the PaladinFeora account didn't exist? Well, one thing that the web archive doesn't do on its own is capture links that don't exist. Because if webpage doesn't exist, how can the archive capture it via crawling the internet?
We tested this aspect by manually telling Web Archive to save a link to a non-existent account called crimeforposting (dropped the 's' in crimes). And that was where the capture showed up with the error page. You can see this in the image below of the webpage when we manually type it in, as well as in the web archive matching the date of when we took the capture, both done on May 31st, 2026.
https://character.ai/profile/crimeforposting
https://web.archive.org/web/20260531153415/https://character.ai/profile/crimeforposting
What does this mean? Lets break down the timelines now.
Lets start with the whirlingroses account. On May 5th, 2026, a capture was taken of the account. This doesn't mean the creation date unless manually saved on day of creation, as its unlikely the web archive did it on it's own when the account was created.
https://web.archive.org/web/20260601000000*/https://character.ai/profile/whirlinginroses
Then we typed in PaladinFeora with an L, and we got the result that was shown before, of the error page, that could only have been taken manually by Paladin themselves considering they said they thought ahead-- which begs the question of why Paladin needed to think ahead about this unless they were actively planning to go after Rose.
And you can see that this capture regarding Paladin's post was taken on May 13th, 2026, almost two weeks in advance of Rose blocking Paladin on the the 25th.

https://web.archive.org/web/20260513003344/https://character.ai/profile/paladinfeora
And yet when we tried to look up PaladinFeora but with a capital i, no captures existed on the archive. We also took a screenshot of this account which is still active on character.ai, to show that even days or weeks later, this account doesn't show up on the Web Archive, displaying how the archive doesn't actively catalogue the site.
If you wish to test this out yourselves, you can see it in action.

Based on all this, and based on our testing, we believe the following:
When we began to expose Paladin and Lynz to the greater BG3 community as bullies, people started to pull away more visibly from them. Namely Rose, who was once friends with them. With Paladin's history of stalking Clearsky to block people who block them, and go on what would amount to rampages, we believe that Paladin created the account to frame Rose in the event Rose blocked her (as has happened, where on the day following the block Paladin was prepared to attack).
To try and play the innocent party should someone accuse them of anything, Paladin did a pre-emptive Web Archive forced capture of a non-existent page. She then showed that screenshot in response to accusations of having her own character.ai account instead of proving how the account didn't exist on a web browser itself if that was the case.
Now, its entirely probable that Paladin made an account after the forced capture was done, and with the time span between when the accusation was put forth and Paladin showing the dev code for the webpage, there was ample time to break the link by changing a letter in the display name. We tested this by changing our display name from crimesforposting to crimezforposting.
While we cannot definitely prove this part, we are 95% confident that Paladin made that whirlinginroses account for the purpose of framing Rose once getting blocked as revenge.
Out of curiosity, we looked up Somniatica on the web archive, and we found two captures, both of which happened in November of 2025. Now, we are not as aware of what occurred during this time period but we suspect that Somniatica and Paladin/Lynz had a falling out during this time if our conclusions are anything to go off of.
Of course, as before, if anyone has anything they could share to shed some light on this that would be great. We are showing both captures via link below where no activity has occurred at all on the empty account, but due to photo limit, only posted one screenshot of the web archive captures.

We also found a web archive capture for helynedekarios (Lynz), showing the same error message, and taken on the 26th of May, the same day that Paladin made accusations against Rose. On top of that, if you hover over the capture day on the calendar, it tells you the exact time of capture (5:11 PM EST). To us, this reads as either Lynz or Paladin working to cover Lynz in a similar manner Paladin tried to shield herself with, as again, the archive doesn't save snapshots of pages that don't exist on their own. They have to be done manually.

Should we uncover more about this situation or anything else comes to light, we will create a new post as we maxed out the number of pictures in this one.
