"Criminally Yours" is a superhero themed visual novel submitted for Yandere Jam 2025. You play as "Oracle" a local superhero who also balances a 9-5 office job. You have a crush on your coworker Nikolaos who just happens to also have a double life, as the villain you hate "Chronos".

Yessss he’s a whole ass mess lol I don’t think it’s that deep overall. Sex is whatever lol like it only matters when it matters to all parties involved. But Nik’s heart wasn’t in it, and I doubt his partner was either, just casual hook up stuff, like scratching an itch. Once MC was in the picture as a potential love interest, I don’t think he even craved the touch of another 🙂‍↕️

In another question, you said that Nik doesn't mind being the bad guy as long as the MC still has some regard for him, but what if that's not the case? I mean, what if the MC no longer has any regard for him after learning the truth and finds it hard to trust him, since the MC can't stand the idea of him continuing to hurt others?

I mean this happens in the game as is, and leads to ending either 3 or 4. You’ll get to see more of how this exact scenario goes in Criminally Your Forever (part 3).

How would Nik react if MC were afraid of commitment? What if he asked her to just be friends with benefits?

Do you mean if MC asked him? He’d take any piece of MC he could get. I think this scenario would work. But Nik just gets addicted to the little tastes of MC he does get and would fuel his Yandere tendencies. It would be fun to write a Yandere story like this where you have a friends with benefits thing with one and they slowly grow more dangerous 🙂‍↕️ ✍️

Hi! I'm not sure if this was already asked but what IF Nik's children with Oracle turned out to be a Yandere too just like their father, Nik? Would he support them and maybe even help them out with their love interests? Imagined what if he passed those obsessive genes too. Omg. Oracle's have to work extra harder to keep their children in rein. 😭

Lmfaoo I haven’t yet, but I’d like to! From what I know ofc Nik is the crazy gf 😭 and Wes is probably some friend or close person to the MC who would help MC survive Nik until the end. (Probably dying in the process 😭 🫡)

Nik just would’ve been a yandere sooner. I don’t enjoy writing teen romance otherwise he might’ve met them then lol.

Nik’s girlfriend is basically a “beard” not that Nik is fully gay, but it was more his way to protect from gay allegations than it was an actual relationship. So no lol

If MC was male or nonbinary, Nik would’ve dated them regardless of bullying. Hopefully MC would help out where they could 🙏 maybe some teenagers would die 😭 yeah baby Yandere in a school opens up some dark territory I wouldn’t feel comfortable thinking about o especially writing.

Well I hate to be that person, but you get to see the first answer in Criminally Yours Forever/Part 3

The dynamic between them is of course explored. But in short hand, it’s Wes telling Nik to chill tf out so he can get MC a gift that’s good with his limited funds and Nik having to hold back and instead show his love in other ways, which Wes still feels he needs to compete with.

I think Nik would just plan stuff with Wes to make MC happy, and Wes might begrudgingly blush through the process, the second he see how happy MC is he’ll realize Nik was right, and be grateful for him.

i’m curious how nik’s behavior towards mc would change if they never became oracle? or if they quit prior to the game’s start. also curious about mom’s reaction since we never see her in ending 2!

Nik wouldn’t care if MC was Oracle or not.

Mama Oracle is tentatively supportive in ending 2 on either side. But she really does trust her child and Wes that Nik is redeemable in some way.

Nik proves with time that he’s a good son in law even if it takes Mama Oracle some time to see that. I think she’s always had a fondness for him, but of course the kidnapping put a damper on things. But she understands the situation is nuanced, and as long as their child isn’t being hurt. Then she can rest easy, but very quickly she realizes that Nik really doesn’t want to hurt MC.
