Eric ive been wondering this for a while. In mcsm s2 why didnt the admin just defeat jesse. Obviously from a point of view for the players and your team the story would just end and there would be nothing but just from a lore perspective why wouldnt he just kill jesse himself. Why send ivor, why send him to the sunshine institute. Also i love how well written of a villian the admin is okay absolutely LOVE IT you nailed mcsm eric. Im still a fan and there is still a fanbase after all this tim

Truly I do not understand why Trainers are so opposed to the idea of running away. I heard some teenagers talking about their journeys, one bragging that he has never run away from any encounter. Never fled from a Pokemon, nor backed down from a battle.

I think living that way must be exhausting. Trainers should understand that running away is not inherently a bad thing. In fact, sometimes fleeing can be the most courageous thing one can do. And even in more normal circumstances... Running away is often the most useful outcome.

Fight or flight is the most basic instinct all life possesses. You should not remove 'flight' as an option. Even if you are battling another Trainer.

the thing about copyright abolition is that. what makes theft bad is that something is taken away from its rightful owner. in this sense, copyright infringement is literally not theft, because making a copy of something doesn't tangibly cause the original owner to lose anything that they would otherwise have. copyright enforcement, on the other hand, does take away people's access to what should be theirs. anyone who makes art while employed by a corporation and is unable to sell their work because it does not belong to them, anyone who's been sued by a pop musician for making music that sounds vaguely similar if you don't allow the jury to listen to the actual songs, these people have far more in common with victims of theft than anyone whose copyright has been infringed

like the thing with the film rights to MLK's speeches being owned by spielberg / dreamworks, that's not actually an instance where copyright law failed to protect artists. that's the system working as intended. MLK's speeches were his intellectual property. when he died the rights to that intellectual property transfered to his family, and his family decided to sell those rights to dreamworks, thereby functionally preventing anyone else from legally using those speeches in a film for the next several decades. no crime was committed, nobody was tricked into anything, that's just how intellectual property rights work

is it known what chemical in sobble tears causes crying? or is it partly also energy they put into them? also i hope commander sniffles is doing well :)

their "tear" ducts actually secrete a potent combination of sulfur-rich enzymes, causing the same chemical reaction as when you cut an onion open but like, SO much stronger. they pull the chemical compounds they need to do this from their diet, so it's possible to reduce the potency through dietary management.

commander sniffles recently had his yearly checkup, where the vet declared him the wimpiest sobble he'd ever seen. he cried when he got his oran berry treat at the end of the appointment because he got startled that the vet tech gave it to him instead of my dad.

All Pokemon classified as "dark" types are somewhat psychic. They emit psychic counter-waves, as I have discussed before.

Umbreon's sweat is poisonous. It is one of their primary self-defense mechanisms, to spray their poisonous sweat into the vulnerable areas of an enemy, usually the eyes.
