Welp I had all of 1 day (technically less) to enjoy enjoying Claire, before running across a dumbass Cleon trying to tie things from Veronica to Leon; thus shrinking down the mood.

FFS the goddamn "wings" mean NOTHING and if anything Veronica would mean Capcom starting up the Steve/Claire machine; because THAT is an actual thing (one-sided as it is). Romantic-Cleon fucking died in Infinite Darkness and has little to NOTHING to it; Aeon still has 5 games (RE2, RE2R, RE4, RE4R, RE6); 1 CGI movie; numerous staff including the VA's; 20 years of ACTUAL build; and the fucking characters actually MATCHING EACH OTHER. UGH

Lesbian-Claire = yes!

Bi-Claire who is a brotp with Leon = yes!

That 2nd one wins me back to positive (from mixed-leaned positive), cause that for sure is an older version of RE2R model that I love. On top of that there's the fire outfit and that badass attitude shown in the 3rd. I s2g if they're still going to put her with Steve, he better get a MASSIVE upgrade to be worthy of just drooling over her.

God I hope Revelation's trailer opening is an indication of where the story is going:

Namely acknowledging that the OG ending exists, but the R games are leading to a new closing HAPPY ending. Bring back into the fray an Aerith; leave the sexist and insulting slap fight between Tifa and Scarlet out; and have an ending to the entire FF7 overall arc that isn't edgelord death-cultist fuel.

The Weapons look amazing, Vincent & Cid's combat looks amazing, the alt. outfits/FITS (I don't know how one is supposed to spell it cause wasn't watching with captions) look great, and they seem to not be locking into ironcladly following the OG path. I'm cautiously hopeful they fix/rectify Rebirth's b.s.

Don't get me wrong I'm hyped for the now confirmed CVR, but kinda mixed (but leaned positively) on the model for Claire

Clearly seemingly in-line with an older version of RE2R's model, which yay (cause that's my fav one thus far for Claire); but still off to me.

While I don't think it deserves one, I am thrilled to see 'FINAL' attached to NDMC s3 announcement. Though still gives Adi another 8 episodes to completely ruin characters, character dynamics, and story. But at least it'll be over.
