Idk how else 2 explain this, but imo the humor in gash 2 is a bit more... Jarring?

Not only did it not land as well as it should have, but i just think some tend 2 be a bit more misplaced. Gash 2 is far more heavier in its discussion/depiction of vile acts like genocide, violence against children (as opposed to children fighting against fellow children gash 1 focused on), adultery, self harm, etc. and the humor just being put smack dab in the middle of like epic fights that resulted from these topics just often feel very off 2 me :( tho there r exceptions of course. Its still an action-comedy manga.
