Hey there! I just saw your gorgeous Nod-Krai artwork a couple of minutes ago. I went on HoYoLAB to just mindlessly scroll and got confused when I saw an extremely familiar piece of artwork, that being the exact same piece I just saw from tumblr a few minutes ago. I’m uncertain if you care about this kind of thing specifically, but I’ve linked it above in case you want to reach out to the person and have your name explicitly stated instead of the vague nearly unnoticeable link at the bottom of the post.

Unfortunately HoYoLAB is filled with so many fanart reposts and AI bs that it’s even more difficult to make a following on there, but I still thought you’d at least like to be aware of your work being circulated in fandom spaces.

Thanks for notifying me, I really appreciate it! I usually don't mind reposts as long as it's not being misused and they link back to me. Technically, the reposter did that even if the link is small, so I don't have a problem with it. People who want to look for my original post and care enough about it will follow the trail most of the time and I find that's all I care about.

Also, while I do have a hoyolab account, I only use it to keep track of my resin and stare at my character builds. I'm not trying to build a following there if that's what you're worried about. But also yes, I do want to know where my work is being circulated and perhaps read comments if there are any. Sometimes I find funny ones on reposts.

And thank you! I struggle with composition and rendering (and everything tbh) and got a little lazy towards the end so I'm surprised someone even noticed it haha

I was actually very into scary, biblically accurate angel Bina people were HC-ing before she appeared in the game. But I also very much like the cute ragebaiter we got. Personally, I think she can still be a little scary or unsettling like in this drawing. She is after all still much stronger than the average person in lore despite getting nerfed from birth.

Anyway, I've been noodling on this for about a week and a half now so I'm just gonna stop here and post it🤷‍♂️

I didn't, but that's so cool! I've only seen Moepii as Banana, but I think she's a pretty good actress and she'll crush it playing Mary! Thanks for telling me, it reminded me that I should try to catch up to Kakegurui when I get the chance.

Talking about post season 2 stuff below the cut

I'm reading LN5 and apparently Suirei also dislikes bugs, so she's probably screaming inside in this drawing. She just doesn't want to shoo it away because bugs=Shisui

Also, I don't know where exactly Shisui was shot on the arm since there wasn't a bullet hole in her clothes. I'm assuming they didn't draw it in because her endgame Loulan design was already difficult to animate. She was definitely in pain though, look at her face when she continues to dance (my bby gril ;-;)

She's like "shit, they missed, i have to keep acting like lunatic while a bullet is potentially lodged in my arm"

Anyway, I like the idea that she has difficulty doing fine movements with her arm/hand for a bit. I'm aware there's a short story about Sazen the guard helping her so her injuries probably got patched up. It might not have healed properly though since he only knows basic medical treatments from what I understood in LN5. But yeah... I love them, probably won't stop talking about them for a while.

Will you join diakko week this year?

I didn't know it was still going, great to hear that it is! That said, I probably won't participate this year. While I still do love LWA and diakko, my brain is currently occupied with more recent stuff I've watched/played so I most likely can't give it the attention that it deserves.

I usually rewatch shows I've liked before and it sometimes sparks inspiration again, so maybe in the future I'll draw more for them and maybe also participate in the event if it's still going by then.

Thanks for the ask though, it made me think about how much I miss it :')
