"Don’t use the last chapter to judge someone’s life […], because his life is full of beautiful stories and triumphs and failures and successes that it doesn’t matter about his problems, it matters about the lives that he’s changed and it matters that he was genuine."
Richard Monteith (Cory’s cousin)
we will miss you big guy

Thank you, Cory. Rest In Peace (May 11, 1982 - July 13, 2013) Candle light vigil for Cory Monteith at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, July 14, 2013. x
We have been working on a new collection that wasn’t supposed to be released until next week. After hearing the news yesterday, we really didn’t know whether to release a necklace we were planning to add to the store that had been inspired by Cory.
After a lot of consideration we decided to release the necklace and allow sales. But we also decided that a portion of all proceeds with be donated to a program that Monteith helped launch last year, Project Limelight. Project Limelight is a free theatre program for children living in Vancouver’s troubled Downtown Eastside that seeks to provide them with a positive, creative outlet. You can read more about the project here and you can watch a video of Cory speaking about it here.
The necklace is a brass locket that comes in gold or silver with a hand drawn silhouette inspired by Cory’s profile. It is pictured above and can be found here.
Rest in peace, Cory.
Cory, I want to thank you.
Without Glee, without you, I would not be the person I am today. You changed my life, you made me open up, you made me learn to be myself and not let others tell me what I can and can not be.
You inspired me, and so many of us. We love you. We’ll miss you.
Rest In Peace
