((Not gonna be on most of the day, gomen. Drafts are saved and ready for tomorrow though.))
a cup of coffee, a cat and the balcony
"I wish I could but I don’t trust many with my work, I feel they neglect a lot of details." He sat back, his eyes glancing down to Apollo’s bracelet, suddenly remembering he wouldn’t be able to hide anything from him. "…I drank a little before you got here too, so that is also why I am a tad dizzy"
So he was right, somewhat. A 'little' beforehand, and what he pulled out a few minutes earlier... good grief. "They probably do, but you're going to neglect as much if not more if you try and get things done while half-drunk." Apollo said, a little firmly. "You're not in a state to be working on anything sensitive."

Not enough to deal with the glimmerous fop every working hour.Â
When was your last case, Apollo? The Mishams poisoning? I hope you’re not relying on little Trucy to support Mr Wright’s entire Agency while you search for clients.
Nah, I've had a couple more since then, but those were... a while ago.
You'd be surprised at how much Trucy can bring in, and Mr. Wright manages to provide a couple of dimes a week or so. Maybe I'll juggle around a part-time cashier job or something, it's not like my current one is eating my whole day as is.
lawyers-lament replied to your post: He didn’t appear to be disgruntled at the moment, and Francis hoped that it would stay that way. He gulped before continuing, “Is there s-someone in your life that you…love? Like, r-romantically?"
"W-well..who qualifies for you? I—er, for your l-love, I mean…" Francis knew he put up a poor attempt at subtlety, but he couldn’t afford to throw all his cards on the table at once.
That... was a good question. Likely someone who could provide something he really wanted, something that was hard to get. "I guess..." He ran his hand across his hair. "Someone I can trust. Completely. I dunno..."
Which was something he resigned to himself as a lost cause, considering one of his talents is knowing when someone is being dishonest. Apollo can't even delude himself.
Klavier straightened up, “Ja I’m fine, just one too many late nights at the office, you know me." He gave a light laugh, opting to take a swig from the water Apollo had just placed down. “I shouldn’t stay up so late, it leaves me feeling dizzy some afternoons"
He doubted that was the whole reason, but he didn't get any reaction to tell that Klavier was lying. So a half-truth, perhaps. Neglecting on the details. Alright then. Apollo leaned back again, crossing his arms. "No, you shouldn't." he said slowly. "You know, it might not be a bad idea to head off early. I've forced myself to do it a couple of times and it's pretty refreshing."

"I’ll take you to the resturant some time…A-As friends, ja?" Klavier tripped over his words slightly, but he blamed the sake for it. That and the other bottle he’d had before Apollo had arrived at the office. He hoped the sushi would soak up some of the booze before he felt any worse.
"Yeah, sure..." Apollo hesitated for a second, catching the other man's... unsteadiness, was that what it was? Surely his tolerance for alcohol wasn't that low, he'd only had a little. That Apollo had seen. "Are you alright?" he asked, setting his water down and leaning forward to better look at Klavier.

As good as one can be. Transporting standard evidence from your average murder scene.Â
The suspect already has an attorney though, so please don’t take it upon yourself to use up all my Luminol on the crime scene, even if it does get you out of posting packages.
The prosecutor is…who you’d expect. I swear, it’s like there aren’t actually any other prosecutor’s around. Or maybe I’m constantly assigned to him to stop him dragging his “frauleins" around my investigations.
Darn, and here I thought for a moment I might actually be able to get a job. I'll have to try my luck some other time.
So another case for Gavin, huh? I figure he'd have more time to put into prosecuting ever since The Gavinnners broke up, so I wouldn't be surprised if he crops up in the courtroom more often. You'd think the fans would lighten up a little by now, but if your hypothesis is correct...
Well, at least you're being payed.

MUNCHMUNCHMUN - Oh, hey, Apollo!
Has Mr Wright got you off on another errand?
Hey, detective.
You could say that. Normally I wouldn't mind so much, but he's got me running around doing menial, everyday tasks instead of something that can actually pay the bills.
But enough on my misery, what about you?
