It could be that they encounter a situation where Julien must act more demure or pretend to be even lower in title that usual for a ruse, perhaps having to pose as Occtis's servant or guard in order to collect information or stay together
It could be a curse that makes Julien be forced to mind his manners and give respect (not difficult to imagine him incurring the wrath of some kind of witch on a bad day)
It could be a convoluted contrived situation where he is now legally Occitis's vassal
Whatever manner you decide to approach it from, what I want is Julien having to give proper or even extra respect to Occtis hierarchically and for it to be reluctantly or against his desire or will, I want him sour and humiliated about it
Bonus points if you have him call Occtis 'sir'
Extra bonus points if you manage to make him have to debase himself to give proper respect to Thaisha as well
In episode 19, when Filoneus Halovar grasped Azune's shoulder not long after Hal had held his shoulder too made me really like the idea of Azune being manhandled, especially by guys bigger than him
Einfasen is bigger than him too no doubt due to the goliath blood and I would love for him to be trying to intimidate Azune or even just being casual and clasping his shoulder or neck
I just want guys touching and manhandling Azune, especially in a way he is uncomfortable with but situationally unable to dislodge it
Bonus points of he trembles at any point or flinches or in some way involuntarily have a physical reaction out of discomfort or fear
look me in the eye and tell me episode 19 didn't make you think of this
Azune wants above all else to be useful, and praise is one of his biggest weaknesses. He really is such a good boy, so sweet and obedient.
