🧶 Fellow yarn collectors! 🧶

While I absolutely love the open shelving look, I'm finicky about my yarn getting dusty/dirty.

I'll be having a new work/craft room soon and I'm wondering about design/layout, specifically for my yarn storage! 😂 I'll just be having an almost-square room with windows in one wall only... Pretty basic.

So! How do you keep your yarn???

I currently keep (about 1/3) of my yarn in Toyogo drawers... Like so:

Just wondering if I should stick to these... I'll have to keep the large balls of yarn a different way...

When it's time to move and start filling my craft room, I was thinking of getting more of these drawers for the rest of my yarn 😂🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶

I have mine in Ikea shelves, they are open, but I do have a bunch of it now in project bags. I either got these bags from crochet project purchases or collected them when buying bedding (but there might be some on amazon for purchase). I haven’t found dust to be an issue but I also don’t have any skin allergies to it so I am sure that makes a different. If I were going for totes or containers I would totally go for clear ones.

I have mine all separated by color and set up in these awesome 3x3 shelves I got from Lowe's, the bins I got off Amazon. Keeps them clean and makes me feel organized as all get out 😁
