never quite did get into my financier-white lily thoughts.

so! this is post-odyssey. financier starts having some SERIOUS doubts after everything she saw with mille-feuille and stuff. so she stubbornly takes it upon herself to attempt seeking the Truth of these creators. were they truly the divine? was this .. blasphemy that the elder spewed?

but this path begins to push financier into more dangerous territory — enough to disturb another specter at the time. many moths (especially luna moths) approach the paladin, lilies seem to bow to her presence. sometimes she sees the reflection of a hazy cookie rather than her own .. or maybe a figure in the corner of her dreams. a ghostly lady that disappears the moment financier swears she's seen her.

this, is of course white lily cookie. who eventually approaches financier herself as a spirit and is like hey. hey paladin don't make the mistakes i did. or something this is probably ooc straying but who cares the world needs to hear

the wolf pup is also a half-cookie and its name would be mocha wolf cookie. when it grows up, it's gonna get more stripey and get this pattern.

candy apple, of course, gives every inch of her love towards shadowmilk. she’s willing to give him all the praise, attention, and company he could ever need and want! she can’t lie though, every once in a while, it does get the tiniest bit discouraging when all the reaction she gets is either ignoring her, or a quick, annoyed sharp reply to get her to back off.

candy apple, of course, loves and admires her master to no end. but she has her days off too, yknow! some days, surprisingly, she’s not as forward towards him. she’s not as eager to bother him with her shower of admiration and praise. she backs off, and starts to question her way of going about things. shadowmilk notices.

shadowmilk, of course, has other priorities to keep in check. not all of his time is made to be spent focusing on candyapples foolish actions….but he immediately notices when she slows down with them. immediately noticing how it’s suddenly just the tiniest bit quieter within his surroundings. he finds that extremely weird, and it annoys him, in fact.

shadowmilk, of course, goes out of his way to find candyapple. he notices she’s a little bit reserved, more hesitant in her tone and actions. to this, shadowmilk furrows his eyebrows in annoyance, and huffs out. he needs to reel her back in, needs to keep her stuck to his side, regardless of how inconvenient he finds it. quickly grabbing her hand, he leans down dramatically—basically bowing—to land a soft, lingering kiss right on the backside.

“my little apple, I can tell you’re a bit in the dumps. what’s on my bats mind?”

candyapple, of course, lights up when she suddenly receives this. she turns red, burning up and gaining a stupid giddy smile right on his face, now squeeing and praising her master. she feels so seen, so accepted, so loved. moments like these just confirms in her mind that shadiwmilk truly loves her, that he wants her around just as much as she wants to be around him. moments like these, they show he really cares.

“master shadowmilk cookie! you’re so considerate! so wise, so sweet, so caring,” candyapple babbles on and on, kicking her legs as she flushes and fangirls over such a simple action. “nothings of concern now, master, now that you’re here. I love you!”

shadowmilk, of course, just smiles at his disciple. he grins at the fact how easy she is. how easy she’s able to be pulled back into his arms, into his grasp with just a simple act of affection. he then releases her hand, and stands back upright, smoothing out his outfit. in the process of getting ready to leave, he turns his head back and looks straight at her, with her flushed and love stricken face.

“mhmm. just keep smiling, dear.” he announces all with a neutral face, no longer bearing that pervious enchanting smile. now turning around and making his exit. and the cycle continues once more, each and every time.
