Mini HC ^_^: PV & SM staffs are sentient objects and have opposite personalities of it's wielders! PV's staff definitely does not approve of PV's little crush and keeps side eyeing Shadow Milk at every given chance. At first, SM finds this amusing, however after a while it slowly starts to annoy him.. by a lot.

I made these designs specifically for valentines day, though honestly i might use the in the future because of how cute they turned out to be!
Also i like how over the span of a year i went from Tall PV & short SM to the opposite LOL. Currently tall lanky SM lives in my head 24/7... makes him appear more "intimidating" hmmmm...
little crk au that takes place in the golden dust hotel…. its like, haunted and stuff and ran by the beasts. white lily’s traveling to beast yeast and gets caught up in a nasty storm so she ends up staying in the hotel as a guest… she gets into all kinds of wacky hi-jinx and solves mysteries with shadow milk as her trusty(?) guide.
My hand refused to draw sage so he's staying as a silhouette with timekeeper being the center of attention (as planned). (My anatomy is off but god could i not be bothered & sage probably looks weird, but! oh well!)
Besides that, initially i thought of making her appear a tad more of "forever young" and bubbly-esk looking? However the more i kept thinking about her, the more did the idea of "older" TK intrigue me. (though i suck at drawing older ppl so, please forgive me if it looks odd LOL)
I really, REALLY liked how their dynamic was shown off in the later episodes of chpt 2. LIKE, i got spoiled to the grouuunddd, but watching it by myself sent me spiraling. The way she praised him? oh my god. ohmygod ohmygoddddd.
ANYWAYS! I will deff draw more of them, but absolutely at a later date. This piece i made is just a simple entry point that i needed to familiarize myself with her design ^_^ . Naturally she might change a bit to reflect my own style, but how — I'm not entirely sure yet... (or maybe it won't change, i feel like she's alrd perfect)
(also considering drawing the og TK ship ( though I fear i'm simply more interested in salt x croissant for that to happen. did you see their banter in mycookie chat??? they were so cute) )
Ended up drawing his form from the new trailer related to Timekeeper, since that one appears to potentially be his final one ? Not too sure, but either way I'm curious what they're going to do with him....

My biggest tip for fanfic writers is this: if you get a character's mannerisms and speech pattern down, you can make them do pretty much whatever you want and it'll feel in character.
Logic: Characters, just like real people, are mallable. There is typically very little that's so truly, heinously out of character that you absolutely cannot make it work under any circumstance. In addition, most fans are also willing to accept characterization stretches if it makes the fic work. Yeah, we all know the villain and the hero wouldn't cuddle for warmth in canon. But if they did do that, how would they do it?
What counts is often not so much 'would the character do this?' and more 'if the character did do this, how would they do it?' If you get 'how' part right, your readers will probably be willing to buy the rest, because it will still feel like their favourite character. But if it doesn't feel like the character anymore, why are they even reading the fic?
Worry less about whether a character would do something, and more about how they'd sound while doing it.
