Hello, I want to apologize for my absence. School was more time-consuming than I speculated and has left me no energy. But, I hope I pick up pace now that the work has lessened. I do owe some things and will be replying to them. 

I’d also like to announce that I changed faceclaims from Lee Jaehyung to Kwon Hyunbin. Although, his background and personality still remain the same. Thank you for your patience and hope to interact with everyone.

The Ravenclaw’s words caused his mind to twirl in a spiral he doesn’t like delving into. He stared at her, wondered if he could indulge himself and touch her one more time. The image of reassuring smiles and interlaced hands popped up. Alas, he decided against it as he offered her a closed, lopsided smile.

A lie pranced around his throat to humor her with a plain “I loved you too.” But, Mason never seemed to find the courage to lie. He was honest by nature and the girl in front only triggered this side further.

Maybe a blunt ‘I love you.’ could work. No, it wouldn’t.

So, he decided for his best bet.

❝ It must have been tiring. ❞ He jested with a light-hearted tone. As he unwilling permitted his tone crack under the seemingly tangible pressure between them. ❝ Thanks for that. The loving me part. ❞

Hello everyone. It is nice to meet you. You can call me Spence. I’d like to thank you for your welcomes. I will surely get to those soon. I heard great things about this RP community so, I am eager to make acquaintance with all of you. I hope we can write together soon. So, if you would like to plot, please like this post and I will send you a message.

With that established, I brought Mason Hwang. He is currently a Ravenclaw on his Third Upper Year. I will leave a TL;DR below. (I apologize, it got quite long.) But, if you would like to know more, I will leave his profile and background pages accordingly.

Background:

Mason was born and raised in the UK.

His father came from a prominent pureblood family, but he was constantly berated for his lack of magical talent. So, he ended up getting arranged to marry his mother, a woman came from an affluent muggle family.

His family would end up getting mocked by both sides as they were notorious for being lacking compared to their kins. Because of this constant humiliation, it impacted Mason’s childhood and his perception of reality. He would get compared to everyone especially his older sister and was pushed to his limits because his mother was afraid he would get shamed like his father.

Because of his mother’s distress, he grew up with the mentality of having to please others. So, he learned how to maneuver through a situation and draw out the best results. Naturally, Mason ended up growing an image of charm and warmth as he is prone to say overly-sweet words and as a reflex, he does things for others.

As a coping mechanism, the boy searches for information to escape from reality. He used to be obsessive and had bookshelves filled with the knowledge he was mildly to extremely interested in.

However, this survival mindset lessened once he entered Hogwarts and befriended people who pushed him out of his bubble.

When he was seventeen, he erased his mother’s memories and freed her from the societal expectations of the elite. He wanted to make his family happy and stop trying to erase his present.

His family situation got better as he visits his father and sister frequently. Every once or so meets his mother as a friend’s child. His mental state got better and feels he is in a good place.

Personality:

Currently, Mason is an extroverted and friendly person. He is constantly searching for companionship.

The boy is proficient in English and Korean so, it is common to find him using both languages when he has the opportunity.

He loves listening and getting to know someone. He is especially enthusiastic if he is talking with someone about their passions or anything the person likes.

He will usually try everything unless there is some type of threat.

He is lazy and tends to not do something until the last minute.

He thrives under pressure and is competent under it.

He really likes flirting, but he is noncommittal and does this for the sake of having banter.

Even though he has many friends, he usually draws a line as he doesn’t want to get attached to anyone.
