Hello, lovely members. As you all may have noticed, there has been a lack of updates today. Unfortunately, as it stands, it will be that way for a while from here on. After some extended discussion among the admod team, we have come to the conclusion that Corusco will be put on an indefinite hiatus. To summarize, a decrease in activity and personal problems overwhelming the staff in their real lives has led us to the decision for the well being of ourselves and our members.
Continuing, we would like to thank you all for sticking with us for eight wonderful months. Membership went far beyond our initial expectation. We all put a lot of heart and time into the roleplay, you all included, and we must stress that none of it was spent in vain. It was beyond fun watching you develop your characters, share your ideas, make new friends, and try new things in your writing. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your creative journey on Tumblr roleplay!
We wish it could have been for a longer, extended time, but, sadly, the timing is off, at the moment. To our new members, thank you for your effort and choosing Corusco to spend some time at even if it was short. Additionally, even though the main will not be active anymore, you're all free to continue writing threads on your blogs for as long as you like.
Closing off, as admins, we would like to give you some of our own personal words for all of you!
For all of you who joined and stayed the entire 8 months, thank you. For those who joined halfway through and beyond, thank you. This community that we started could not have been made possible without all of you! Thank you for all the laughs and good times in the Discord server and on the dash. I'm honored to have been a part of your lives and those of your characters, and thank you for enjoying Nathaniel through all of his antics (and mine)! I'm really blessed to have met all of you and I hope we run into each other again. Though I'll be busy with my personal life for a while, any of you are free to message me on my Discord at any time or ask for it though Nate's blog which I'll be logging into every once in a while still. I hope you guys have been having a wonderful summer and have a wonderful fall. I love you guys so much and thank you for the amazing memories. ♡♡ - Admin Ron
Hello dear members! I feel it’s the first time I have talked to all of you as a serious admin. But now that this time has come, I feel I need to be a bit serious to show my gratitude for you guys. To everyone who has joined us throughout the eight months, thank you. I couldn’t have asked for a better community that kept growing beyond my expectations. Despite I was not incredibly active, I hope you enjoyed having me around as Peter and his mun. It was fun seeing how everyone interacted and made this place somewhere we could all rp comfortably. So, I really thank you for the wonderful memories together. If you ever want to create more, hit me up at xxx-xxx-xxx. All jokes aside, I hope we can still keep in contact! Whether you joined since day one or you joined later in the end it doesn't quite matter because to me every single one of you were like a family member to me. I cherished the time I spent with everyone and I certainly had a lot of fun here! I made a lot of great memories during this eight months and though I feel a bit bad that we're closing right after the eight-month anniversary, frankly put it's an important year in school for me and I am the sort of person who hates doing stuff halfheartedly. Everyone here deserves all when it comes to anything which happens here. Nonetheless, I'm glad that we placed time together to create this place. Contrary to what I did say, I did eventually join the community as a member and I'm sorry I kept it quiet but I sort of lost the timing. Oops! Who did I play? Everyone, yes even your muses I took them over while you were sleeping. You can feel free to guess for me! But anyways I hope that until we come back you will all enjoy yourself to the utmost with everything you have! If you're a student I hope you ace your studies and if you're in the workforce I hope that your work treats you well. Stay healthy! This is not the end nor is this a goodbye because goodbye means parting forever and forgetting. Neither of which what I want to do! I will see you all soon I am sure! So until then! - Admin Heroine
