My granny square project is finally done! It’s a handbag with a top plastic button and fabric inner lining, good for a day out in smart casual attire. This took a while because I had to crochet enough granny squares for a good sized bag. I love granny squares, and this pattern is one of my favourites. I’ve heard some call it the starburst pattern, and others call it the sunburst pattern. I’m not sure which is which, but that’s not important. What’s important is that I enjoyed the therapeutic process of making it! I wanted to make a hugable yet quirky bear, so I made this bigger than all of my amigurumi projects so far and added stripes. Benny looks a little odd, but I think that’s what makes him special.
