I have a head cannon that Spirit is actually buddies/frenemies  with Crona since Maka won’t pat attention to him. They only occasionally hang but Maka isn’t the biggest fan of this relationship.

Croma Week 2020, Day 7: To care

Or like, Maka doesn’t let her depressed friend go back alone to the cold basement of the school

Day 7 of CroMa Week! Today’s theme is “To Care”

A comic based on the time in Episodes 27-28 where Maka was paralyzed by Arachne’s magic.

I was having a bit of trouble when planning what to draw for this day, but then I remembered how Crona (and Ragnarok I guess) was the only person to not even speak in the scene in Epsiode 28 (or the corresponding manga chapter) where everyone visited Maka in the nurse’s office and then they just disappeared until Ohkubo decided they were directly relevant to the plot again (but my annoyance at Crona’s absence from school scenes in non-focal episodes chapters shouldn’t derail this post for too long). After all they did in Loew Village, there’s no way they wouldn’t have at least checked on her a few times once they got back to Death City.

I hope everyone else who did this week had fun creating and submitting! Thank you to everyone who participated!

It’s the last day of CroMa Week. It was a wild ride trying to get all this done in time, but was also fun drawing all this fluff for a change instead of my usual output. So here’s Day 7, To Care. I don’t know how much of a stretch this concept was, but I haven’t fully read Soul Eater in awhile, and at the time f making this I had only gotten up to Volume 5 out of 26. Sorry iif any of this is OOC!

Day 6 of CroMa Week is Loyalty! aight so like, my thought process was “Dogs are Loyal! Dogs are also super affectionate. So what if I drew Crona being happy and affectionate when Maka returns from a job and some shopping?” With stretches like that I should do yoga.

So we all know what Medusa was like so Crona did’t kniw any kther type of affection then loyalty towards her. So, Crona will now that he’s with Maka learn what tru affection is uwu. Crona burdened himself with everything that was going on back then and I’m sure he felt that it was his duty to repay for everything by that sacrifice (since Maka was involved that means he was DEFINITELY in love with heeeeeeeeer😭 uwuwu)

SO YEAH, here’s that moment we all deserved :’)
