So we kicked off the start of October by going to a very old cemetery– one with civil war, revolutionary war, and WW1 and 2 vets buried there. Next to it was a church, built in 1867, that was padlocked shut, paint peeling, and the windows were nailed shut. About 60 graves with unknown bodies were in rows near the edge of the cemetery. There was also this pile of sticks with a flower on it (pictured), and there was an eerie circle around it and the old tree it was under. Outside of the gate, was a giant tree stump, recently cut down. My mom was counting the rings when she noticed that someone had written an arrow and “WW1″ next to one of the rings, and “Pearl Harbor” next to another. This tree was at LEAST a hundred years old when it was chopped down. 

And I thought I’d tag @sixpenceee, since this fits with her blog.

she is literally being painted as the angry black woman because she’s standing up against a gross misogynistic white man and she’s trying so hard to be a good role model for her daughter and support her. she even had to keep quiet while she was being sexually harassed by a male contestant in the house who kept hitting her butt and made inappropriate jokes so that she wouldn’t make herself loud and a target she’s literally gone through so much and is such a strong amazing woman and she deserves this PLEASE vote for her every day!
