Jonathan Crane is quite the talented dancer, and no, I’m not just talking about his “violent dancing” Kung-fu style. He knows several classical dances including the European waltz and and some American swing and jazz.

He really likes to dance, but rarely enrages in it and usually only in private with a select few people, namely Edward and Harley as they are close enough not to judge him or mock him.

And he did get mocked for his skilled as a child, leading him to be rather reclusive about his skills. Skills of course, not talents. He doesn’t believe in talent. Everyone has to work for what they have.

I have UNTOLD amounts of Ratcatcher/Otis and Jonathan Crane as perhaps closer friends in a sense than Jervis and it’s my shameful personal headcanon that just clicked with me from the moment I read his character in Detective Comics #585. Thanks for this post @jonathan-cranes-mistress-of-fear, as I have not indulged in the Grant comic for quite some time and I appreciate your updates with the Harley Quinn series. A little giddy find in my blog this late afternoon.
