Crow/Amanda Ship Week

A ship week for an unpopular ship in a dead game celebrated by like five women

Symbols get associated with characters a lot in the Destiny universe (though less so as the game went on). Our two lovebirds are no exception.

I use the term lovebirds for a very good reason, because they are specifically associated with birds. This makes sense as they are both pilots.

Amanda is associated- notably only after her death that we hear about- with the eagle. I think, if plans had ever manifested to bring her back as a Guardian, she would have had a strong golden eagle motif.

Crow...well. Crow is associated with a lot of birds. There's...crows, naturally, his name that comes from Spiders private joke about Uldren's old job as master of the crow intel drones/network. There's the falcon from the Rega-Ager story about Mara and Uldren/Crow. Finally there's the hawk from the Hawkmoon quest.

Fun thing! Uldren in the Distributary kept eagle-crows as companion animals.

Crow/Amanda ShipWeek 2026: August 24-30

That's right, I picked some dates! They are not based on anything other than I will probably have time to get all my writing done for it. And now the prompts! Enjoy my limited graphic design talents and capabilities!

There are a grand total of two (2) cutscenes that feature both Crow and Amanda in them. One is the Season of Defiance opener, the other occurs after she is dead - the flashback from the campfire scene in TFS. Given the timeline of their reconciliation and her death, and the fact he is not wearing a mask in the scene, I'm not really sure when that flashback occurred, but we don't call the studio 'Bungle' on occasion for no reason.

This is all to say that any graphics produced by yours truly with my minimal skill will feature the same 3-4 screenshots when I can't come up with some other idea. Visual artist I am not.

Also this is a 'ship built almost entirely by pre-, mid-, and post- mission dialogue. I've seen thinner foundations, myself.
