Lucifer in Sam's room in 11.22 genuinely does make me feel sick to my stomach. That's his rapist. In his bedroom. Probably on his bed. And the show wants me to laugh. It wants me to laugh about Sam's rapist in his bedroom just 7 episodes after "you're like the girl who kept turning me down at the prom", just 12 episodes after "a solid "B" on the tongue action". The show took the time to remind us in inescapable language exactly what Lucifer did. We saw Sam small and fearful like a child telling Sully that he thinks he has to go back to The Cage, we saw tears roll down Sam's face when he realises he's trapped in The Cage with Lucifer again, we saw the terror and horror on Sam's face at the realisation that Cas was Lucifer, as Lucifer violated him yet again by touching his soul, Sam pressing his palm after that violation because he needs to know if what he experienced was real. And I'm supposed to laugh.
I'm supposed to laugh.
