Akudama Drive episode 7 was pretty pog king shit. Brother and Sister’s backstory was pretty predictable and in many ways not that necessary, but I mean, using dead children to fuel immortality is stil fucked up and cements Kanto as being real motherfuckers, and the show’s generally great direction keeps the scene entertaining. The double reveal that they’re going to the moon but also that the moon is fake because the real one blew up is certainly, it’s really great, I’m a big fan. Like that’s just funny, I think there’s a certain comedic tragedy to it that only works because both ideas are introduced in the same episode. Also, I think early on like, I sort of expected that they’d keep all the Akudama together, they’d bounce back and forth off of one another for the whole season, and potentially become a group of fast friends, but I really respect how hard the show’s committing to fucking up the dynamics in some way. I do expect Hacker to make a return still, but Brawler is like, actually fucking dead. And it’s taking a toll on Hoodlum and his place in the group by extension. Which is causing him to run up against the wall with Courier and his “keep your feelings out of work” mantra. And then Doctor like, actually fucking betrayed everyone. She’s very ready to kill all these people she’s been travelling with for the past 7 episodes for a shot at clearing her name. It’s kinda fucked but I really like it. Cool episode, cool show. I think, another fear I lowkey had from that group dynamic I expected the show to have is that Swindler and Courier end up together, just because it’s an easy ship, but at this rate I expect we’ll soon really learn why that just wouldn’t work. Fun time.

so i just watched akudama drive

i just had a panic attack and mental breakdown over this show and im not ok

i just bingewatched all the episodes out at the moment and it was easily the biggest mistake ever. not because the show’s bad, by all god its amazing but my feelings were so toyed that with by episode 6, i started having a breakdown, talking to myself like, surely, it couldnt get any worse. IT GOT WORSE. I LOVED DOCTOR and just the fact CUTTHROAT decided to use the boy as a shield hh. i fell in and out of love with him like 6 different times and im not ok this show is amazing but i was not prepared for the feelings

pregame kaede headcanon so if the cast of v3 forgot their school memories, which lead some to gain new personalities, what if kaede akamatsu went through something traumatic at school which led her to have her pregame edgy personality? 

but since they forgot their school memories, she forgot her traumatic/reasons for hating people too. which is why she was so preppy/happy? all i hope is that she didn’t get her school memories back as she was hung, i just want kaede to be happy ;w;
