"You are far too old for my son. Stay away from him or there will be an arrow through your head."
No she didn't take kindly to threats but this one she understood. "I don't want your son. I only wanted to be friends. Sure we joked about a few things but I think you should know that my father will not like the idea of an arrow through my head. I want to make it clear to you that I don't like your son, not in any way you think. I like him as a friend. Nothing more. I will stay away from him if that is your wish, so make sure he stays away from me."
"Now there is something I donât know," Aphroditeâs elegant brow arched up: "So was that how it worked? Tsk-tsk, intriguingâŠ.."
She furrowed her brows, "I don't understand what you're going on about."
"Canât or wont?" He questioned her ramblings, "I know you care about me deeper than you would like to admit. And yes, I know how this will end with one of us turning into something horribleâŠ.I donât care about those adult stuff. Iâd be happy to hold your hand, to sing you songs and even kiss your cheek. I would never ask for anything more. I promise. Just think about it, my aunt was once going to decided to marry, she found her exception. I found mine."
"I am not having this conversation with you--" She moved to get away. In reality she did feel a lot for him but she couldn't. But the grace turned on her heal, "What do you wan to hear! That I think about you a lot, that I like-;like you? It's not the way it works. It's never going to be enough because you're going to get older and I'm going to stay like this. Just keep your vow and I'll keep mine. We wouldn't work. Relationships get complicated, and they turn...carnal....that's how it is with gods. Just run after a nymph. It's better got you and me."
He was happy that she enjoyed his rendition of her favourite song. And with her embrace he felt his heart pound so much so that he thought she could hear it. As they parted he felt the urge to lean in a little closer and place a kiss on her cheek. And so he did, taking great pride in what he did. âThere, I stole a kiss.all me a thief. For one day I will steal a real one.âHe quipped, though he did mean it. He wanted his first kiss to be with her. Even if he was to be a chaste god, he still wanted that moment.
She rather liked his boldness. "You get so happy over..." Philophrosyne couldn't help but giggle, "I really think you have stolen an actual kiss, maybe then your smug little face might have merit. " She smacked her lips."I really liked the song, maybe we could make this a thing. You play me something and I play you something too...."

He listened to her story and he did not find t tragic at all, except for the poor children who had to suffer such a horrible mother who valued her mate more than her offspring, but that is just how life was. Nykterinos twisted his lips hearing that her spirit wander in purgatory seeking out children to pas as her won so she could be with her lover.
The young god liked the story about the boy and the girl better. âSo they runaway because they are in loveâŠâ he was caught off guard by her question and instead decided to answer it in a different way, by giving her a peck on the lips. He was still a child and he didnât know how kisses worked but he felt as though he made an adequate attempt. âI think you know the answer. I would follow you anywhere.â
It felt strange and sweet to have the young boy's lips on hers. The small peck was replied to with a longer and smaller kiss. Showing him or least showing him what she had seen on the tele. Usually the kisses lasted longer and then faded to black on the screen but this was real life and she didn't know what she was doing. This was all new to her. When their lips parted she smiled, blush hitting her cheeks. "That was my first kiss...Nykterinos." Quickly she smacked his shoulder and chest playfully. "You're going to be a handful aren't you?"

"I am not other-halves materials, little one. Never had and never will be," She snorted: "It was one of the many mistakes Zeus made, for believing I would actually settled with just one man. Even he couldnât achieved that, yet he expected me toâŠtsk."
"technically you wouldn't be one for one other half, that's why I said halves. Whenever you find a lover they complete something you wanted, don't they? I don't care if you have three or a million lovers. Do what makes you happy and being with my father didn't make you happy but it makes my mother happy. So all I ask is that you not discourage her choice as she would never discourage yours. Though as I recall you were offered because of Hera and Ares was supposed to win but Dionysus got my dad to come and win you himself...or am I wrong?"Â

He watched her closely waiting for the cues when the story was to begin. He nodded urging her to tell him about this wailing woman who steals children. âSo is this a sad story or a tragic story? Because I donât like stories that force you to feel pity for a character. I think itâs very rude to do that.â Nykterinos replied as he moved in closer to her.
"Iâm barely a squab, I donât think they would think youâ be after my virtue. " He chuckled, "Everything is dangerous, male, female, creature. Itâs just a matter if you fight back or canât, Iâll tell them after the story. I really want to hear it." His chest pounded having her so close to him. "Moonrise Kingdom? Whatâs that about."
She pursed her lips and nodded, âWell part of it is sad but not for the so called villain in this story. Now, there are many telling to how this came about this is one of them.â She cleared her throat, âOne day a long long time ago there was this beautiful woman named Maria, she was so lovely in fact that many said she was the most beautiful woman in the world. And with that Maria grew conceited and thought to herself that she would marry only the most handsome man. And so she did, she married a man very fitting for herself and above her station. Together they had two children and every thing was fine, but as years past her husband seemed to be called back to the wild. And he would only come to see his children. He'd kiss them and not bother with poor Maria. Of course this made her upset, but not quite as upset as when she heard that he was seeing another woman. So one day she lead her children to the river...â The grace continued her story, âAnd pushed them in, holding their heads under the water until they drowned. In her madness she allowed the river to take them. But her husband came back and looked about for his son and daughter, and could not find them. She moved to him, viciously called him out on the affair. But he said, he promised to her that if she brought his children to him he would stay with her.â She licked her bottom lip, âAnd that's when she realized what she had done. She ran to the river, screaming for her children. Wailing and crying over what she had done and the fact that she could not be with her beloved until she found them....but the story doesn't end there. No, after her passing you can hear her wails carrying over the water. And when a mother doesn't watch her child, the wailing woman would take them in place of the child she lost. But when she realizes it's not her child she drowns it in the river.â
Maybe it wasn't a scary story but it was one she enjoyed. Philophrosyne chuckled at the mention of the movie she was talking about, âit's about a boy and girl who like each other. They decide to runaway together because they fell in love and it just tears the town apart and opens things up for everyone. It's cute. You might like it.â She smacked her lips, âIf I asked you to run away with me, would you?â
The had been friends for a long while now and he hadnât meant for her to hear that. âWell?â Nykterinos at least wanted to hear her say no instead of hiding behind an I donât know or I donât want to talk about it.
"you don't understand." He was putting her on the spot and that wasn't fair. All along she had told him that she couldn't have feelings for him but he wouldn't listen to anything. "It's not that I don't care about you but look at you. You grow, you get older as I will not. I will never. I can't ever give you things that you need as an adult. Because I am going to stay as I am." She shook her head, "It's not that I don't. It's not that. I can't. Why can't you understand that? I can't, okay. I can't."
"I donât know if they donât want me talking to boys or girls. But I want to talk to you. I like talking to you, it gives me inspiration for things." he knew that was, he felt things for her in a romantic nature. Those feelings helped him write what he wanted to get across and what would help others do the same. "Iâm sure. Iâm very sure." He replied, "I want to play you something because I think youâll like itâŠ.you said you liked the first, the opening scene of Swanlake right, with Rothbart changing Odette into a swan, that one right?" he asked as he settled down at the chair and began to play his violin. at first he was going to play on the piano but he felt he couldnât do it, that heâd forget the keys and settled for the violin. At least there he could keep his eyes closed and not keep gawking at her.
She watched him play and it was magnificent. She couldn't believe how well he did with the instrument. "Wow" It was her favourite song being played to her by such a young boy it felt almost romantic. The young grace pursed her lips and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she watched him perform. She wouldn't forget herself. She too had to remain without attachments otherwise she would never be able to do her job properly. Once he was finished she smiled, "You play beautifully. I loved it." She moved to embrace the boy.
i am like really tired. I'll draft things and answer them tomorrow.
