     ‘    i’m  sorry   …  ’   there  was  a  change  of  tone  in  his  voice.  much  softer  now  .   sure  stuart  can  be  stubborn  but  he  did  have  a  heart,  emotions  not  just  a  hard  stone.   felt  awful  for  even  saying  it  out  loud,   then  again  there’s  always  two  sides  to  everything  ;  three  sides  in  fact,  and  this  was  the  middle   (  knowing  and  discovering  the  difference,  the  similarities  and  the  good  of  either  sides   )    because  he  had  his  reasons   too .   but  it  wasn’t  as  bad  as  hers.   ‘  i  didn’t  mean  to  ….  i’m  sorry ’

EMPEROARS:

there it is. the crossing of  line separating him from indifference and animosity,  bordering  on rage. insults to the quality of his food weren’t foreign to him, though he never cared for such blatant disrespect for someone who was no higher than he.

features  crease  without flinch,  tongue pressing itself against canine with every word she speaks with  mighty  tone  with  a  pitch  to  burst  an  eardrum.  the  strong  flick of  wrist  from  tight  grip on plastic,  sending  black  bag and its  rotten  contents  at her feet, spilling from where it was about to be tied.    ❝     take your pick.    ❞ 

despite  his  words  ,  her  chin  lifts  high.  there’s  an  ache  in  her  chest  from  his  one  insult  :  servant.  she’s  royalty  ,  there’s  royal  blood  in  her  system  whether  he  wants  to  agree  or  not.  she  is  better  than  him  ,  she  matters  more  ,  &  that’s  what  she  continuously  tells  herself.

brows  raise  at  the  other  ,  in  a  challenging  manner.  she’s  not  scared  of  him  ,  dealt  with  bigger  ,  &  badder.  when  he  throws  the  bag  ,  she  doesn’t  flinch  ,  instead  lets  her  gaze  drop  to  her  feet.  a  smirk  curves  on  lips  decorated  in  a  cheap  stain.       ‘    oh  i  bet  your  daddy’s  going  to  love  this.    ’
