it’s hard to explain exactly bc i still sometimes struggle with my body image but i don’t have an eating disorder. like yeah at one point i wanted to be scary thin but it didn’t make sense to me the way i know it makes sense to some of my moots.

like im at a point where i like the idea of being a comfy hug, my thighs a place to lay your head, my body a source of warmth and safety. i like cooking food and trying new things to feed and impress my loved ones.

there’s this sort of same desire still, to be loved. when i clawed through the trenches of starving i was doing it partially to be loved. i do things now, partially, to be loved too, it just looks a little different.
