I'm going to get to spend my senior year doing music theory and English I m g oi ng to cry this is exactly what I need it goes towards college, I get six hours of college classes in if I do this plus a scholarship if my studies and product pass at the seminar at the end of senior year. Watching Lazarus curl up his flippers close in embarrassment was cute, along with his grumbles and his soft nudge back to Maeli. Meanwhile, she accepts the kiss and presses one back to him, scooting next to Shaxx to get comfortable next to him. " Not as romantic as I wanted it to be, but-- relaxing at least." She opens the box to reveal chocolate covered strawberries. " I saw these awhile ago, and they look delicious -- also, I brought some old movies over! Choose whatever you want to watch. "

Maeli chirps something indignantly though it turns into a giggle when Lazarus nudges her back and she coos softly at him.Shaxx gives a small half-smile at the display before he looks down at the selections Gold has for him, raising a curious brow at some. His hand hovers over his automatic go to (a cute little movie about a little native islander and her alien pet, he doesn't know why he likes it, he just does) but a rather vibrant cover catches his eye.Long pale yellow hair stretching from a vibrant tower, it was...interesting. The brightness of it all was what gets his interest. He picks it up, holding it out for Gold,"This one, I suppose. Looks interesting. Colorful."

" Excellent! I'll let you finish up here - come by your quarters once you're done. I, ah, actually have everything set up. We're going to have a night in, since it's too cold and windy for an outside dinner. " With that, she leans up to press a kiss to the corner of his lip in a quick peck, before going off back to the quarters. When he returns, he'll find her sitting in his bed - majority of candles lit, Lazarus floating up high, blinking, and a large box in her lap; grinning at him.

'Everything set up'? Huh, there's a soft laugh as he watches her leave and he's quick to hand the night's protocol to Arcite, double checking before shutting most of the station down.When he enters his apartment, he goes into a side room to take off his armor, storing it properly and getting into more comfortable clothes.Maeli chirps happily when Shaxx enters his room, the pink Ghost flying up to Lazarus, nudging him as her version of a kiss as Shaxx laughs quietly again, settling onto the bed next to Gold and giving a gentle kiss on her cheek,"Well now, this is rather romantic."

" So, ah, today is official Crimson Days. And I-- wanted to do something for you, if you aren't busy at all, tonight. " Rather than in her normal attire, she is dressed down. It's not entirely formal. She shrugs with palms turned and open, smiling wide up at him. " It's a surprise! What do you say? "

The offer is strange, mysterious almost, and he can't help but be a little intrigued. Arcite can deal with the Crimson Bonds that finish their missives, he decides, and being with Gold on the actual Crimson Day sounds nice.So he takes off his helm to look at her properly, to let her see his grateful smile, as he says with a pleased tone,"Of course, Gold, let me transfer the missives over to Arcite and then we can have the night."

Maine is technically 'late' to a party he didn't know about, at least not one that's recognized outside the Sol system. He's arrived at the Tower in some rather nice red and black apparel though, and gone down to see Shaxx. "I didn't think you guys would celebrate Valentine's day around here. Tower looks nice."

Shaxx has never heard of a 'Valentine's Day' before but he guesses that it's what inspired the Crimson Days so he just shrugs, blinking curiously at Maine's rather nice attire."We call it Crimson Days here but I suppose it is the same nonetheless. The Crucible likes an explosive celebration for it." A tilt of the head occurs before he remarks lightly, "You're looking a bit more handsome than usual today."
