maybe he'd be like. bringin mark more coffee or a snack bc he knows mark works for hours and forgets to take care of himself. and marks all sweet and gushy and the chat is screaming at the top of their lungs.

ethan would maybe act normal n b like "hi guyz" before leaving like it's nothing and marks just a little flustered but he likes the attention and showing off his bf.

anyway crankiplier valentines day picnic

• obviously ethan brings all of the food. He's the Superior Chef™ and no he will not take criticism

• also he has a couple family recipes he shares with mark

• if mark tears up at this fact because "he's family now!!" then You Didn't See Anything

• mark brings the blankets and music ! maybe the quilt is a little Too nice to be resting on the packed dirt but it's pretty and cushiony and it feels nice under their socked feet, so Whatever. It's worth the stains

• also he brings a speaker, fully planning on serenading ethan in the middle of the park, but ethan catches on and shoots that idea down right quick

• so they listen to hozier and lay down together instead

• mark made cookies!! but he maybe sorta forgot about them in the oven while he was texting ethan, so they're just. Awful.

• they feed the birds with them, and Ethan starts seriously considering adopting Sir Feather-Ass

• finally the crowd sorta dissipates as it get later in the afternoon, and mark pulls ethan up to dance with him

• them dancing to "as the world caves in" 🥺🥺

• oh my gods them slow dancing to "the way you look tonight" by frank sinatra as the sun sets behind them !! oh my gosh !!!

• eventually they just fall back into the blanket in a tired heap and watch the new wave of valentine's day picnic-goers after the sun sets

• maybe ethan's elbow lands in the plate of mashed potatoes at one point. maybe mark slips on a plate full of sauce. We Don't Talk About It

“Hey, stop messing with your IV.” Mark ordered, slapping his partner's hand away from his arm. The man on the bed groaned and looked away, a pout heavy on his lips. “Why are you pouting now?” Spending the weekend in the hospital has been probably the most frustrating part of their relationship.

“I keep telling you, I’m fine, but no one is listening to me.” Mark fixed Ethan with a stern look, then held his wired-up hand gently in his own.

“We can go home soon, baby, they just want to make sure you won’t collapse again when they send you home.” Ethan groaned again, exasperated.

“I’m not going to! It was a one time thing!” Mark felt his heart sink as confusion and frustration built up in his system. The state he had found the younger man in was not normal. People don’t work themselves so hard that they forget to eat food for more then two days, losing sleep the whole time and never taking a bathroom break. Ethan worked himself to the bone and he can’t even admit that it had gone too far.

“Ethan, you are in the hospital right now because you hadn’t eaten, or slept, or done anything beside work at your computer for days! That is not okay. The doctors are just trying to make sure you’re healthy again so that I can take you home. You need to trust us, and trust me! Please.” Tears had slowly welled up in Ethans eyes, though he didn’t want to blink and cause them to fall. He stayed silent, staring at the end of his bed. Mark sighed softly, and let his muscles fall.

“I’m sorry.” Ethans mumble was hard to hear, but Mark was grateful for the response. He watched his boyfriend's face as he spoke. “I didn’t know that it…. I didn’t think that…” The YouTuber huffed a breath as the tears finally fell and he quickly swept them away, though more continued to drop. “I’m sorry, Mark.” Sympathy poured out the older man's heart at his partner’s inability to express his thoughts, and the regret in his voice, and the sorrow in his eyes.

“It’s okay. You’ll be okay, my love. I’m always here for you.” Mark leaned forward and pressed a gentle, yet meaningful, kiss to Ethan’s cheek, who turned and pushed forward for a kiss on the mouth. Mark was happy to oblige.

Imagine this: they're on the set of Heist 2 (or whatever it's gonna be called) and there's a stunt Ethan's going to do where he perhaps falls off a building. And obviously it's "safe" you know, they have a crash mat set up, and he's not actually going to fall the whole length of a building, but it's still a bit of a drop. And Mark is Nervous. Ethan's not - this is easy, he's just falling, he's done something similar before, he's got this - but Mark is kinda paranoid because it's Ethan. He wants to get someone else to do it but Ethan's just like "are you doubting me?" and Mark's like NO but he also won't admit he's worried. So he lets him do it. And Ethan does it super well, everything is fine, they do a few takes just to be sure, and then he's done. But then Mark notices Ethan's limping a little and goes slightly crazy. "Just landed a little off that last time, no big deal" Ethan says but Mark's simply Not Having It and makes him sit down and gets him an ice pack and everything. And Ethan just gives him this stupidly fond smile, and Mark's like "what?" and Ethan shakes his head like "I knew you loved me." Mark of course denies it loudly but you can tell he's lying so Ethan pulls him down to sit next to him for a bit and it's just cute as hell - cranki-dumbass

this is entirely too cute, its just so them. i want them to hold hands after ethans makes mark sit with him, i want them mark to rub his thumb across ethans hand and play with his fingers. i want ethan to stare at mark while he is talking with someone about shots/edits and his smile grows until mark looks over and ethan just pulls him in for a quick smooch. i love this, thank you for sharing!!

Yeah i pretty much read all the fics in the tag (except bottom mark cuz ew) but I reread yours and ardett's most frequently. anyways, do you have any mark/ethan/amy headcanons? I personally like to think that they hang out and don't post about it just to drive people insane (and I'm totally not just projecting about wanting to have irls that i could hang out with) -olive

skfjskf dude !! I must warn you that giving me Any chance to talk about this Will lead to a long and insufferable ramble:

I !! Absolutely adore that headcanon and I agree wholeheartedly - the three of them Absolutely do hang out All The Time

• Just. Could you even imagine the movie nights? Tons of blankets spread around that none of them are really using (mark's a furnace, and because of this he is the Designated Middle Person/Human Pillow), the dogs whining for attention and getting it (+ them fighting over the dogs), half-eaten bowls of popcorn and spit-out takis everywhere - it's a mess, but it's Their mess

• Sometimes Ethan will come over Just to steal their food. He is not apologetic about it in the least.

• Amy loves baking for all three of them Constantly, even though the other two don't really help much.

• At Least Once one of the boys has tipped over the bag of flour and spilled it All over the floor. This resulted in a flour fight instead of an effort to clean it up, and they still have nightmares about finding flour in the cupboard days later

• Speaking of sleeping, Ethan sleeps over more often than not, and Always ends up on top of one of the others. Sure, mark and Amy may feel like they're being suffocated to death, but gosh he just looks so cute sleeping with his eyes half open like a cryptid !!

• There's a running joke between them that Mark is actually a cryptid - Ethan caught him on a midnight snack run and thought the boogeyman was finally going to get him for the toy he stole when he was six. They keep a hallway light on now just for that reason

• Mark doesn't like anyone else touching him, but Ethan and Amy are allowed to do basically Whatever and he'll just melt into it. This causes a Lot of confusion when he'll just trail off mid-sentence because one of them started playing with his hair or something

And,, I think that's all I have for now? But yeah their dynamic lives in my head Rent Free, and I have a ton of headcanons for it skfjskfks
